Yup.norman timbs special 1947?
Really, REALLY cool car!Yup.
I was at the museum, and they called it the Norman Timbs Buick Special, so I assumed Buick made it for him.Really, REALLY cool car!
He took the most powerfull engine available, placed it in the middle and made a super-aerodynamic body for it. It must have been really fast at the time. And it really looks the part aswell! Nice
But from what I can tell it was not built by Buick, it was built by a mechanic (Norman Timbs) using Buick parts.
It actually states he used alot of Ford and Packard parts aswell.
Someone else may take my turn.
It was a custom car made by Norman Timbs not Buick.I was at the museum, and they called it the Norman Timbs Buick Special, so I assumed Buick made it for him.
