I'd had the same hair style for 3 years now... the classic California style: top combed foreward, front combed up, sides combed down. Spikes just don't work with me (not a skater/psueod-skater), and I'm not know to be "outlandish", so I have to keep a low profile.

Anyway, I like it, except that my hair is really thin, so getting the front to stand up is one big pain in the rear end...

As for dreadlocks, that'll certainly get many people's attention, to put it at the least...

My hair does it's own thing. I discuss with it, what I'd like it to look like, and it doesn't pay any attention. I've got the 'just woke up look' hair, but not through trying to do something with it. It just is, with some brylcream wax to help it though.

Be thankful you've got it. Imagine waking up with it all gone...meh.

I'd say no. Think of it this way. A white guy with dreadlocks would be something like a black guy with a mullet.

Why anyone would want dreads is beyond me. They were invented by guys with afros in Jamcian prisons. That's what happens when you don't wash or cut your fro for a few years. Now white kids want the Jamacian prison look Cool. Insta-dreads

I have short brown hair. Forward on top (with a slight wispy spike), up and to the side in front. It has been the same for so many years now.

I used to color it when I still thought I was cool... violet and black mixed together. It looked pretty cool in the sun.
