Halo 2

Why pay for Live when you can just play Halo 2 on Xbox Connect? There's over 50 servers all the time, and it's basically an extended System Link (LAN) Game; kinda like Kai for the PS2. But the only thing is, it has basically none of the features XBL has (ranks, content download, etc.)

Anyway, the ONLY thing IMO keeping Halo 2 alive is online play. I'm sure some people here will agree on this.
 
Oh yeah, without Live I would likely not have Halo 2, and without Halo 2 I would likely not have an Xbox. Well, at least before I got the 360 that is how I thought. Halo 2 is an online game in my eyes, the campaign is just a way to get used to the game before going online as a complete newbie.

I think Call of Duty 2 is the exact opposite really, but I haven't played online to know for sure. There is no excuse for 8 players online whenever SOCOM III can have 32 and Halo 2 has 16. After all, there are plenty of AI soldiers in campaign. I've also explored the multiplayer maps on my own and they don't seem like they will be any fun. However, I do love the campaign mode.

I've played Call of Duty 2 for the 360 on Live at my friend's house, and it is fun, even though I'm really terrible at it, but I'm sure it's more fun once you get used to it. Haven't played Campaign mode though.

Well, in campaign you constantly switch between defensive and offensive as your group takes over German posts and then defends that post as Germans move in to try and get it back. The final mission is amazing and finishes with some P-51 Mustangs flying down low dropping bombs on enemy vehicles to save your team.

Since im the 2nd or 3rd best that i have ever played with, people either quit after a beating or after a massacre, my friends joined my team and killed themselves. It was only prolonging the inevitable because the score was

Blue Team:
PSI Sh0cKwAvE = 54 (Me)
Green Team:
PSI GAME OVER = -23
PSI Arantes88
PSI Assassin

Game was to 50, but since they would kill themselves on my team it lowered my score.

There a bad team lol

Maybe, Sony kept on selling the PSOne way after the PS2 came out, so It's a good possibility (more games are coming out for the Xbox than for the 360 anyway)

LOL Yeah that's the sad part. The public's slow to catch onto Xbox 360.

The 360 package for $399 comes with the xbox360, the hard drive, wireless controller, HDTV cables, internet cable, AND the headset. Thats a very good deal considering how much you get. Heather and I absolutely love our 360's. 👍

We never play against each other. Most of the time we play together against friends or against the computer. The coolest part about both of us having our own 360 is she can have her own 360 and her own gamerscore.We just got ours and my Gamerscore is over 9,400 and she is around 4,400. Plus if I want to play one game and she wants to play different game we can easily do that. Nothing cooler than having a girlfriend that plays games with you. 👍

Nice! I have almost no idea how the Gamerscore thing works, but I know it's like a ranking on XBL. Anyway, it's sweet your girlfriend plays games too, I don't even have one :indiff:. Oh well. I'm only in 8th grade, so I got time ;)

Back on topic, does anyone know what the skull in Gravemind does? I've gotten it many times before, but I have never found out it's effects. I've also gotten the Grunt Birthday Party skull, the Sputnik skull, and the skull on Cairo Station (Grunt Birthday party is my favorite :))

Every Put Yourself on Severe Handicap, Me and My Friend (PSI Arantes88) went against 3 Noobs over at his house. Its a pain, It takes 7 shots with a sniper to kill them. (4 headshots) Me and him are the best snipers in our area.:sly:
 
Handicap = Noobs on steroids. Any noob can take you down with a Plasma Pistol if you have severe handicap.

Yeah but when PS2 came out with a monster price tag everyone rushed to buy it.

Edit: Yoda, I think he meant that he put handicap for the other people and he still killed them with the sniper.

I had the handicap on me, which made me easyier and made them 3 times as hard to kill, Instead of 2 snipers shots, it takes 7.
We were making it even so the 3 others in the other room wouldnt slam the controller or punch the wall as much.

You put handicap on yourself and it makes you weaker, and them stronger, we figured it out when we accidentally put it the 3 noobs had handicap then we switched after a kill or two.

each game is worth 1000 points towards your gamerscore. You complete certain objectives in the game and it awards you points for it.
 
The rating in the online play of H2 is great. The system will match you against players of a similar rank, so you generally tend to get evenly matched games. I say "generally" quite loosely as there are many many gamers who, for a couple of reasons, choose to de-rank. I wont go on about their reasons, it'll get me annoyed !!!
