Right guys I need some serious help here with advice for hard drive upgrades.
I've got the 40GB fat model PS3 and I realised not long ago that the amount of data heavy games I have means that 40GB is just wishful thinking. Since buying Heavy Rain I havent been able to play it since it won't install due to lack of space.
So I want to upgrade the hard disk and I was thinking 500GB would be perfect for me. Plenty of space for music, videos, and any DLC's I want to download and with games like GT5, F1, Assassins Creed Brotherhood, NFS Hot Pursuit, FIFA 11 coming out soon, I'm gonna need a new drive.
I'm already nervous about doing something like this myself cause I always think I might screw up my PS3, but what is the best upgrade drive that people could recommend? I think Seagate is the default, but a few guys on Amazon seem to go with Western Digital. Any help would be greatly appreciated on the choice. I've seen the HDD replacement tutorial on here and that will help in the process, but for now which company do I go with for a 500GB drive.
Gonna stop waffling on now. lol
