Has a video game ever made you cry?

Don't think I've ever outright cried for a game, but Mordin's death in Mass Effect 3... **** me sideways, did that hit hard.

"Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong."

Bloodborne. After putting a bowblade through the final bosses' heart, his heart was not the only heart destroyed in that battle.

That's the most recent example I can think of...

Does it count when I've become so frustrated about being stuck in a game that I start shedding tears?
I suppose, I remember Paul Dickov ending my run in the League Cup on FIFA as a kid, that was emotional, his surname felt rather apt at the time.

I've never cried over a game but the closest I have came is probably Journey, most games with sad moments have just made me feel gutted rather than upset.

Funny enough just 20 mins ago I played and finished Journey for the first time, and well let's just say it's very apt this thread popped up today :O The game's landscapes are absolutely superb but it was travelling with your anonymous companion that was the truly beautiful experience for me. Certainly made quite an impact.

Final Fantasy X was the closest I've come to doing so, primarily arriving at Kilika Island.
