Wouldn't that mean that it was possibly a Sonata, being revealed at a Chinese auto show, with a Chinese numberplate...?
Anyway, I thought I'd point out that the occasional copycat design is hardly a thing of the past among american, European, and Japanese automakers...here's an example that I had recently used on a different forum, so I'll just re-use the pics...
I guess the Chinese are taking this as a learning experience. Or they are gathering experience building cars so when they decide to go legitimate they have the know-how to build cars. Haha, no seriously I'm being serious. Hey, stop laughing I was serious! Ok I lied, this is a crock. Even if they completely copy the exterior of a decent car they can't copy the interior quality.
I was going to say 1.3 liter I4s can be quite fun to drive... I used to drive a 1.3 Sentra. It was fun doing hillside roads in it, as it had aftermarket springs, shocks, mags and tires. You HAVE to work the engine hard to get going, and it was entertainingly revvy. Classic sports car stuff. Lightweight, low power, lots of grip.
But of course, that was a twincam, chain-driven Nissan engine, more power, less weight, and it looked a hell of a lot better than the "Beauty Leopard".
