I first pre-ordered the CE on Amazon UK but canceled it and ordered it at my trusted local games dealer since I didn't want to wait. Also, my local shop usually sells pre-orders one to two days earlier.

Does anyone know which US vendor will supply the 787B? i must know because that's what will make my decision of a 2nd or 3rd preorder for me.
if target and TRU won't offer one, then i'll preorder from BB and WM to get the NSX and GT-R GT500s. Only problem is I don't really want those cars.
If target offers the 787B then ill get 2 more; 1 from amazon and 1 from target.
I will then proceed to sell the brand new unopened copies of my game for $60 shipped.

BE WARNED! If you preorder with Best Buy, and use a Paypal account to pay, the full purchase amount WILL be deducted from your account IMMEDIATELY, even though it specifically states on the website that you will not be charged until pickup or delivery.

Had the same stuff. Pre-ordered at CD Universe, money got deducted from my paypal account immidiately and the bank account assigned on the paypal account didn't had sufficient money yet (had to send money from an other bank account first which took about 2 weeks). They were getting a little inpatient at paypal because of that...

Play don't guarantee launch day delivery, they tend to ship on the Wedensday for a Friday launch. I only wish I had kept all the e-mails from them over the last 3 yeas, 2 months and 19 days. Just to see how many updates they have sent me since putting in my order. The last one was to anounce the UK date was pushed back to the 5th of November, they seem to have given up sending the e-mails now.

Considering I will buy it next to NFS, I'm in no rush of getting it ASAP.

PD have let us down so many times I hope the delay hurt their sales. They deserve it.
