Hey I got a question.

I ordered it from Game Stop, the CE and I am wondering do I get the pre-order bonus from Game Stop, or is that only for the regular edition? Talking about the Stealth McLaren F1 and the stupid Game Stop Nascar..

I have it pre ordered from HMV (in the UK), and have had the order in since early October. I have ordered the standard version, I was tempted to get the special edition, but I'm going to use that money (plus a fair bit more) for a racing wheel to really get the best out of it.
 
I haven't preordered and i'm in no particular rush to get the game.

I'll get it eventually but probably not this year, perhaps February.
 
no I haven't per-ordered as ye. But on launch day or days later I hope to buy the Signature Edition. Fingers crossed that edition is not sold out ^^

Yeah I'm considering cancelling the order, except the decision will depend on how much it will be priced in australia.

JB website says 109 at the moment, except black ops was 89 on its first day. I'm paying 80 for it from US so I might have to cancel since the arrival date could be too far away!

WOW S&S have it for $88 that's the best price I have seen, other than a site called mwave which I found on staticice.com, who are selling it for $78.
 
I preordered the CE via gamestop because Australia doesn't have it! I am not prepared to pay $300 for a game although the SLS model is tempting ;)
 
I pre-ordered GT5 sometime during the early Spring of this year, I turned it down. Then it was this past July when I traded in a copy of "PS3 Batman: Arkham Asylum" toward a pre-order of GT5. Of course, I ordered GT5 at a Gamestop.

Yes, all major games ship many copies. But if you have 5 bucks, you dont have to worry.

The preorder is useful if you can not pick up the game the first day, as it may be out of stock by the second or third day. Or If you are going to pick it up really late because you are working, wich is my case.

I hope so because this is what I will be doing, actually I'm going to be calling up the day before and seeing if any stores are breaking release date.

I doubt that is going to happen. I'm just worried there will be some screw-ups with pre-ordering.

I didn't have an issue getting GTA IV on the first day and that was a pretty big release. They had tons of copies at Best Buy.
 
Pre-ordered GT5: CE in August from Amazon. Glad I did. :D
 
I planned on Pre-ordering earlier this year, but I stopped because I assumed that our local stores will have it in stock on black Friday. :D

Man...I hope that I'll get the game day one. :nervous:

AAAW MAN! Dude if my copy of the collectors edition gets mailed to some random bloke across the street that doesn't know 🤬 about GT5, I'm gonna be really mad...:yuck:
 
Preordered GT5 in June.

Today received a confirmation that 18.11. (which is today) i have to send the money because the want to send me the game !!! yeehaaaa :)

Date of sending 18.11. !!
 
Yes I've pre-ordered the Collectors Edition version of the game from Amazon and can't wait for the 24th :drool:. Maybe with a bit of luck it might arrive a day or two early :crazy:. I cannot wait!

Welcome to the forums, I wouldn't be too surprised if the game gets shipped early, it seems like a few places in Europe have already started to ship copies out.

Thank you for the warm welcome :). Yeah it certainly seems that way hopefully here in the UK it will be possible to get it before this coming Wednesday because each day seems to get longer and longer as the date approaches :nervous:. I just want to play the game guys... so bad :sick:.

Anyone have idea of the content of the Apex book? I take it that it will be full of tips/explanations and the suchlike. This is the first time I've pre-ordered a GT game so I'm rather excited! Sorry it that's too off topic :dopey:.

Just Ordered the 320GB PS3 with the Collectors Edition from Amazon :)

Just gotta hope it Turns up on Time now as i'm also supposed to be Collecting the Standard Version from the Game Store :dunce:

Figured i'd play it safe as my FAT PS3 will Probably Die soon anyhow being as its almost 3 years old :sick:

I can Just Imagine Waitng all this time for GT5 and I get the YLOD on Install at 99% :nervous:

its not a 360... the originals didn't have a 50% fail rate lol but it did have iirc a 11% failure rate

but the slim version is a lot better than the "newer" old models a lot more silent with better cooling
 
I plan to rent GT5 on the 24th but it is on my christmas list. So no I did not pre-order GT5. I was going to until I heard the details about the "standard" cars.

Not having a cockpit view and not being able to change wheels on a "simulation" driving game drives me nuts. :indiff: But I am still looking forward to seeing the premium cars in action. :)
