Was playing the Ferrari Professional challenge in A-Spec mode. Just as I crossed the finish line first in my 458 Italia.....nothing happened. The car slowed to 80 and then continued around the track for a full lap. No button worked instead of Start which just paused/unpaused the screen and myself and the AI just continued snail-pacing around the track. Let it run for a bit in the hope it would solve itself but no such luck.
Resigned to the fact I'd lose the win (it's a relatively short and easy race anyway), I tried to quit the game through the PS button. The playstation attempted to quit the game but just got stuck, and I ended up doing a hard reset.
At this point I was starting to get a little worried. Turned my PS3 off and ejected the GT5 disc in the hope it would work when I started it up, but no such luck. The PS3 starts up perfectly fine, however when I inserted GT5....nothing showed up. It's like I hadn't put the disc in.
This definitely got me worried, and I tried to put a DVD in to see if it was a GT5 disc problem.... and that didn't work either.
Anyone know what's happened to my PS3/know how to fix it?
PS: Before you say that "it's broken", think a bit and if you don't really know and you are assuming it's a hardware fault, don't post. Thanks for the help everyone!
