well i have a 410ci sprint car motor in her, but plan on ls7 twin turbo 6spd swap. my evo IX mr edition eats it though, but thats been tuned by CBRD in york and makes 831awhp running e85

Wait. By sprint motor do you mean an sb2 because I can't see any evo eating an sb2.

And to stay on topic, how about a wrx? They are well under your price limit and have plenty of aftermarket support.

Haha actually 2 Weeks ago I beat one of the bigger endro bikes so yet you fail again because i'm pretty sure we were talking about cars

We were talking about cars? I thought we were discussing how your car can power the inner core of earth?

Look we asked for proof, so until then you are on the spot.

As for everyone else, apologies for the horrid exaggeration.:dopey:

The WRX is another great buy, but it's hard to turn away from an M3. That M3 looked like the mob business.

Look at my profile pick! I cant upload for some reason says invalid I have more next to the ws6 but the flash shines on my name this Pic has the best of both so ha! Face! I had to wait to post so I didn't get in trouble for double posting!

Yeah, FACE! Complied with simple request after dancing around a question and demonstrating an inability to follow simple directions for 18 posts. Suck on that, GTP.

^ What he says.

Or a 328i if you can't stretch to an M3. Still lots of fun, possibly even cheaper to run and insure, and even less attention-getting.

I tend to suggest Ford P71 in these situations too, since I'm denied them living in the UK which makes me want one.

Please OP though, don't go down the bodykit route. Completely goes against the whole "I don't want a rice-burner" thing.

For the budget he posted, he could get the most mint fresh E36 M3 ever. Or a bit older one and easily have someone else fix random bit that wasn't quite right. You can find them for $6000 in decent shape, and a few grand into one is going to make it quick and handle like rails, not mention look tasty good.

No think I only replied 3 times after the request. And I don't jump when told and i'm at work so yea b face! Let's recap I said I owned a car that in a straight line goes head to head with hundred thousand dollar super cars. then I proved it upon request twice and was proved wrong neither time, was even called a fibber that's right I said fibber! And in the end I was right.... Never doubted my self! Listen i'm not like this i'm a really nice guy who's not sarcastic or rude. but when I make a simple statement and get constantly questioned and doubted I made to feel like i'm a liar i'm Gona prove that I don't lie the truth will set you free ; )

You did no such thing. You posted pictures of a Trans Am. That was not the request.

If you are incapable of taking the pictures at whatever time, then say that you'll take the pictures later. Besides, you were on GTP quite a bit for being a chef who was "at work." I wouldn't be half surprised to find out that you had to wait for your dad to come home and pop the hood on his car, either.
Let's recap I said I owned a car that in a straight line goes head to head with hundred thousand dollar super cars.

It does not. Your car is by no means in the same league as a "hundred thousand dollar super car." You are delusional.

then I proved it upon request twice and was proved wrong neither time, was even called a fibber that's right I said fibber! And in the end I was right.... Never doubted my self!

It is not my job to prove that you don't have a Trans Am, it is your job to prove that somebody who writes like an 11 year old owns the car he claims to own.

Nobody called you a liar, fibber, or dishonest person. Do not try to fabricate what happened.

If you felt like a liar, that's your business.

I am looking around ebay for a nice, fun and cool car. I have 15000 to spend. id one to go under that and use the rest to put into it. I am interested in cars that have or could easily put body kits on or something like that. I DO NOT WANT IT TO BE A RICEBURNER!! Something that wouldn't have high insurance. I've been looking at some cheaper 350zs but those will have high insurance. Also something that is easy to work on. Something cool and cheap to have fun in. I do not want a project car. Just a car all ready to go(or very minor modifications and body kits) with good miles and thats reliable.
Thanks for your help- Carson
So, you don't want a riceburner? (Riceburner=unflattering term for a car or motorcycle of Japanese manufacture)
Umm. Last time I checked a 350Z was a Japanese automobile.
You don't want a project car, yet you want something easy to work on.
I don't mean to sound like an old fuddy-duddy. But it sounds like you have a ball of money burning a hole in your pocket, and you want us to tell you how to spend it.
You got Euros out the wazoo, in your MKlll Jetta/Golf/GTI triad.
You got fairly recent Mustangs,
You got EARLY G35 Infiniti. (though it is a riceburner)
You got 1st Generation New MINI's....
You might even be able to pull the trigger on a Mazda MS3.

If you're looking for a driver, rather than a fixer, see www.autotrader.com.
It will allow you to enter your parameters such as price, bodystyle and color.
Pick something you like.
Work complete.

I'm pretty sure that's my tag right on the car which was the request and yes it does in a straight line every single car I listed and I've been at work since 4 and I live with my fiance and my dad owns a civic. Dude! Free write much?
Please take a few deep breaths, and re-say whatever you just said in English.
I think I got the gist, but there is some importance to where commas are placed.

"Let's eat Grandma" or "Let's eat, Grandma"
One is cannibalism in action. The other is calling Grandma to dinner.
Let's not chow down on Grandma.:)

(A big man would have said ok) that's how it was supposed to go just got the new razr and trying out the sywpe feature out I guess it's not working huh. But either way i'm done with this i'm right nana boo boo stick your head in doo doo

I didn't ask about your family. Frankly, the details of your life make no difference to me.

A Pontiac Trans Am WS6 has 325hp and weighs 3500lbs. It does not keep up with any of the cars you wish it could. It is a 10 year old car that wasn't that fast to being with. What you think it could do based on 0-60 numbers of all things is irrelevant.

If you want a big welcome to the community, go make an introduction thread in The Rumble Strip.

I drive the car in my profile picture.

Edit: It is also your responsibility to make sure your posts are understandable. There are people on this forum who's first language is not English and they manage to get by. Type slowly and make sure your words make sense.

Did you really say it's not that fast! Your worse off than I could have imagined. well it was nice to meet you, you just made me feel better about my self! What year?

I didn't say the Trans Am was slow. I said that it was never as fast as you claim it to be. "That" was meant to be a reference to your claims. (ie: hundred thousand dollar super car fast).

You can try to be dismissive, that's your deal. You can't get around the numbers though. Your car wouldn't last a second against a "super car" from either 2002 or 2012.

$15000 huh there's only one car I would buy in that price range and its the car I own a firebird Trans am ws6! It destroys most everything 0_60 4.9 seconds top speed limited to 167mph 24mpg highway 9mpg if you drive it! There's your answer period! Haha 350z what a heavy.underpowered car little v6 in a ton and a half church! Yea they look ok but wow there slow! (for the money anyway)
We are all now dumber for having read your posts. The OP asked for car suggestions--he did not ask for suggestions on how to become white trash. (Answer: grow a mullet, wear a wife-beater, and drive a Trans-Am with a bird on the hood. You can score Bonus Bubba-Points if your Daisy-Duke girlfriend is standing up through the T-Top and flashing her tits at children in minivans 💡)

Had the same problems when I started using SWYPE.
Go into settings and set the accuracy to it's lowest setting. Sounds counter-intuitive, but it works.

Oh, and rather than hijack a thread for your personal war, take it to PM or anywhere else out of the public light...
The mods will like you more, and keep you out of the "music-business"
(My old term for members of the band (banned).

THank you for at least trying to stick onto topic

I've been in similar buying situtions before with your criteria. Buying BMW/Merc was ruled out as at that price it's gonna be an older car-stuff's going to break and it ain't cheap. I love older M3's.

I've had a couple extremely reliable Japanese cars that I would buy again for sure.
WRX and S2000. Just need to find the right seller more than anything-don't buy from kids. Must have maint. records and no wrecks. Other cars I shopped were Miata, Mazdaspeed 3, Legacy, Acura TSX and RSX, Civic Si, Mini Cooper, VW Gti. Mustang GT I tried to like but found it pretty boring unless I was accelerating (sounds great!).

I drive an Evo X now. An older Evo or Sti is awesome but finding an unabused specimen is difficult and will be very expensive to insure if you're young. Good luck.

Edit: Cars ALWAYS look better on Ebay than in person. Never buy sight unseen.

its a small block chevy based 410 ci dirt track motor, and my evo was tuned by CBRD Speedfactory in York PA so yeah it beats my velle by 300+hp and weighs less, plus awd.

My brain hurts after reading some those last posts by AJ11..... :ouch:

Can you please stop dragging this thread off-topic please.

Scaff

That Subie is a great example for that price range. There was also a Saab wagon that was just a rebranded WRX.

che69velle-like the looks of your Evo. I've been meaning to take my 08 to CBRD too.
