lthielei burned an image to a cd-rom with nero and i can't erase the disc! with any program i need help
no
GilesGuthrieTry using a knife on the playing surface of the disc.
live4speedCut the disk up into tiny pieces.
live4speedNo, I mean tiny, tiny peices, not centimeter squares.
Tiny.
daanDrop it into a container of molten steel. If it can kill a terminator....
No, Jon, my Laptop doesn't get THAT hot. It probably could if I played games on it during a summer's day though.Jon.Or put it in one of these, if molten steel isn't available.

MachOneMaybe he wants to erase the data to re-use the disc. Cutting it up wouldn't be logical.
Yeah, if it isn't RW, no erase.
lthieleCD-R
i mean just deleting the data from the disc
gOoSeTeRNot possible, sorry. And why would you want to anyway? They cost what? 20c each? If THAT!
lthielewhat!? i paid $1.50 for a single cd
amp88If you paid $1.50 AUS for a single 700MB CD-R then you got bumped. If it was an 800MB CD-R then that could almost be forgivable, but when buying them in any kind of quantity (25/50/100) they should cost between 10p and 20p each (20 to 40 cents AUS).
gOoSeTeRI have NEVER used a CD-RW in my life, CDRs are cheap enough not to bother with CD-RWs. The least I have put on a 700Mb CDR is 2kb (a text file)
lthieleDAMN I'M NEVER BUYING A CD-R AGAIN
gOoSeTeRWhy not?
gOoSeTeRCD-R Stands for Compact Disc - Recordable
CD-RW Stands for Compact Disc - ReWritable
gOoSeTeRJust buy a pack of 100 CD-Rs for $20.
gOoSeTeRMind you, you normally get about 100 uses out of a CD-RW, so it probably works out cheaper.
gOoSeTeReven a 650 CD-RW would do the trick. But what are you burning to it? Would a USB drive be better perhaps?
It might pay to make sure your burner can actually burn CD-RW before you go buying a stack of those buddy...lthieleDAMN I'M NEVER BUYING A CD-R AGAIN

I agree with Gooseter. I would get a flash drive instead. They're not terribly expensive and it's less of a hassle than burning/rewriting. It's quite convenient to have.
