Well, rubber timing belts are just a pain in the ass, any way you slice it. *Someone who's belt shredded some teeth a week ago* On any car that old, you have to make sure all your belts are in good condition, especially those timers.
The belts/pulleys are strung very tight, which is why I asked. The guide I am reading right now pretty much says that the charger is the only thing to be worried about. The white Corrado's charger was rebuilt by BBM at the same time as the motor, so I guess that would give me more time before having to tend to any problems or regular replacements that may occur in the future. The other thing it says is to watch out for how hot the engine gets, there are solutions for this, like different intakes and intercoolers but I don't know which one would be more effective. It looks like I have a whole lot of questions to ask.
