Just bought a copy of GT5 Prologue PAL version

And cant download the UDPATE for GT5p till next week as i am capped

what is the exact update that i need to download?

He isn't explaining himself properly

He cant update to SPEC III cause his internet is capped till next week
but he wants a saved game file that has all the cars so he can play with them till he is able to update the game itself to SPEC III

so what he basically needs is just the right file of save game to work for him

PAL (australia) which i believe is same as the UK version..

Why not use the week you have before you can update to practice and beat the game yourself? 💡

There are saved games at the top of the forum. Think you need a PAL saved game buddy.

Aren't new copies of the game up to spec III 'out of the box'?

I would also recommend going through the game yourself. The practice will be invaluable and will give you a good grounding and you'll be better prepared for the online events.

If he doesn't know which version of the game he has, how would we?

How would he find out what version his disc is?

This is what happens, he gets a savegame he loads it to his USB all in the right directories. he goes to GAME SAVE DATA loads it, overwrites his current one
then when he goes into the game it asks him to BUY A CAR and the save game goes back to the original one. He's tried all the SPEC II updates for PAL (australia) version
he's tried many other ones and still nothing.

In the game, on MY PAGE which is the main menu. On the top left it say's "GRAN TURISMO 5 Prologue spec I, II, or III. Where did he buy the disk? North American televisions are NTSC, European are PAL, Australia are PAL, Japan is NTSC-J. Read the instructions on the page. The files are downloaded on to your computer, copied to a flash drive, then copied into the ps3. I don't believe you can download directly to the ps3.

Save a replay then go into the xmb, save game utility and see which version it says.
