Tips for what specifically about it? There are quite a few components missing from your question for anyone to really answer it. i.e. What distance do you plan to drag? What areas are you seeking advice for(suspension, tranny, etc.)? A bit more info on your end would be helpful. There are many tips to be given, but what would be of most use to you?

No problemo, jreb - though I did combine your double post at the beginning :)

As for tips, I have very few - the community in here are very knowledgeable however, so you're likely to get any answers you may be looking for from them.

Hey Thanks and sorry for before. And Ya everyone seems to know a lot more than me! Thank You!

When tuning your transmission you want to set it up so that when you shift you are in the powerband to achieve maximum acceleration. You want to top out just past the end of your run. You should be reaching the end of the powerband just as you are crossing the finish line. If you check out Dr.Slumps tuning guide I gave the link to, he goes more in detail of how to set your tranny.👍

Edit: Welcome to gtp!

The range in which your car produces optimum power. You can see this on the settings screen in game. For instance if your car produces 725hp @8000rpm you can see on the chart that the power drops off sharply after this. This is where you want to shift. When you shift you want to land within the powerband to avoid bogging. It helps to keep your gears close to avoid this. When you make a pass you want to be constantly accelerating at the same rate. Not very fast, then when you change gears your car has to build up speed. It should be even throughout the run, not up and down. Hope this helps.

Look for the little graph with too lines when you go into your settings, it's on the bottom right corner. Generally you want to be between the 2 lines peak points. However some car's can't do this so you will likly have to tune those more to get right on the peak itself.

There are many little things that can add up to making a VERY fast car, such as, the Suspension, ride height is a pretty big factor, the gear you launch from, making sure you don't hit the rev limiter at any gear, In many cases the Viper and Ford GT will be launched in 2nd Gear

I recommend using the new speed test we have, I have be able to make my cars much faster with little adjustments.
