The real Major Dick Winters has passed away at the age of 92. It's sad for me to think that the last of the WWII veterans will pass on within my life time.

While I'm Japanese, I also appreciate the services of these heroes of the Allied Forces. Without their effort, we would probably be living under Nazi-Germany & Imperial Japan rule, and that would have been very unfortunate for everyone.

Band of Brothers was a very well made series. I should watch the Blu-ray I have, but I still got 24: Season 8, Inception, The Other Guys.... I'm little bit backlogged.

I love Band of Brothers. Everything is so authentic and realistic, and you can really connect with the characters, as oppose to old 50's war films where it's all about the fighting. And don't even get me started on the soundtrack!

Amazing series, strange that this should happen now, just a few weeks agoi had no working internet connection for roughly 2 weeks, during that time i decided to watch through band of brothers again for the first time since it was released. His story is stuff of legend.
