I am new here so I hope this isn't a repeat of info but I did a search ror "hidden secrets" and nothing came up for GT3 so here I go.

1.You can use the automatic transmission like a manual! Just press and hold down the R2 or L2 button to prevent the gears from changing. It works for upshifting as well as downshiftng.

2.In arcade mode , press L1 and R1 for selecting "professional" mode races.

3.Trial Mountain and Smokey Mountain have "BIGFOOT", or is it "BIGFEET", hidding in the trees.

And for a cool thing that's not really a secret is the Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car has the only "glow in the dark" racing number decal on its side. I want to see more of those in GT4!

I hope this helped and was considered a nice newbie gift for all of you.

If you have anymore please reply! I would love to hear them!

:D

:D

I knew most of them. Sorry.

Isn't that the RZ Badging?

It's not a Bigfoot. How the hell would it manage in a tree at 200+ lbs?

It's a monkey - on Trial Mountain 1 the monkey sits in the tree (although if you turn round and look, it's vanished). On Trial Mountain 2 it's walking along a branch (again, turn round and it disappears).

A monkey? Cant't be, monkeys have tails. I don't see one on whatever that thing is. Besides, it looks too much like that "BIGFOOT" thing you used to see in that famous homemovie footage.

Bears weigh 200+ lbs. and they climb trees like squirrels.

A-ha! A true anthropolgist... :D

I was caught in two minds myself - the monkey on TM1 doesn't appear to have a tail, but the one on TM2 - with the same facial features - does. Additionally, most apes - with the exception of the Orang-utan - don't climb trees. And the "being" is about the same size as a large car tyre. So I'm pretty sure it's a monkey.

I just checked this out with my HDTV and up close it is only three silhouettes done over and over again, but from a distance it does look like some people.

GT3 credits do show three producers.

1.Producer Kazunori Yamauchi

2.Executive Producer Akira Sato

Both of PD

3.Taku Imasaki, Producer of SCEA, production:cool:

Cool secret!:D

The 'Bigfoot' and the colliseum faces are both news to me, which is bizarre seeing as how I play GT3 so much, they should put my face on the side of the Polyphony Digital building on the Tokyo circuit! :D

So where about on the tracks can you see the mysterious monkey men??

1.Trial Mountain: Start the race and go past the first small tunnel. You will then turn to the right , then to the left and there should be a large tree branch that sticks out over the road. He/she/it is up on that branch.

2.Trial Mnt. II: The same place but you have to go "the wrong way" at the same place. This time he/she/it looks more like a "monkey" with a small baby hold on its backside that looks like a tail which is why some think it is a "monkey"

3.Rally Race Smokey Mountain: Just past the "Big White Wall" on the right hand side up in another tree.(White tree.)

4.Rally Race Smokey Mnt. II: same place with the same "monkey" "BIGFOOT" ape like thing. For these two races , it is best to see him/her/it in First Person Race mode.

I should also point out both the tree and branch have absolutely no leaves on them.

also it has been posted elsewhere that there is a sign on leguna seca on the right bank halfway down the corkscrew that says 'dont pass us by' never notice it until u stop and look!

and on r246 as u come out of the pits directly to the left (almost) there is a line of cars behing a barrier in front of a building among them is an imola orange pearl nsx and between the nsx and white car (near the building) u can see the asimo robot also made by honda:cool:

and fp posted that on swiss alps after the chicane but before the last corner there is a banner spread accross the track follow that banner to the right and it is attached to a tree in that tree is a cameraman!:D
