Thanks to my friend lending me it, I've been on Fifa 12 all weekend and completely forgotten about my maths homework, ah poop.
 
So I just turned a paper into turnitin.com about trebuchets. I looked at it and I was good to go on plagiarizing and then BAM. Second page has quite a bit of red. I look at the website it says I'm plagiarizing from....

I truly hope he doesn't actually think I ripped it from a guide on how to build a trebuchet on a video game....
 
Well I decided that I'm going to go up to tech for open house on Thursday to demonstrate what we are doing and use the tire machine. We get bonus points and also a treat apparently so why not.
 
Anyone in the School's VEX robotics club? Today we tried getting our scissor lift working, but the gear keeps skipping on the rail...

Design tech project is due tommorow, my partner is useless. -_-

Did a Chem test this morning, feeling confident about it!
 
Had a visit from the vice principle and other members of staff from my cities 6th form (there are others but they're all adjoined to high schools) I was going to go to the school anyway but it looks even better now.
Time to work on my application me thinks... MUM! :lol:
 
We were talking about Hurricane Sandy when our teacher asked "What two states were badly effected by Hurricane Sandy?" The whole class besides one person yells "New Jersey and New York." This kid yells "Atlantic City". I really would like to know when Atlantic City became our 51st state?

Thanks! Good luck! I should have gotten a 93% if I didn't screw up my math... class average is a 65%, I'm getting an 84%. I'm planning on getting 100% on everything for the rest of the semester and ending with a 95%. I've gotten 1 100% test so far.... 4 more and 1 exam to go..
 
Because of the dumb thingy with the teachers wanting the ability to negotiate their contract, they closed off all non-class related activities.

Which means that the weight room can't be used, and I am pissed about that, how am I supposed to work out now?!? :mad:
 
Go lift some rocks... :P Kidding. Your city should have a student workout membership that's cheap. I remember Mississauga had a $111 for 111 days of summer membership that gave you acess to the pool, workout gym, everything, city wide.
 
I was thinking about going for a run, probably not the wisest idea in a snowy Canada. :lol:
Our fee for the workout room is only $10 a semester, but a buck a day is dirt cheap for gyms.
 
Couple things: Best of all I have finished my last English controlled assessment ever! Looking at a C/B. Also on the topic of English, I think my teachers earlier statement of how I'm going to fail English and not get a job is biting her in the arse, in my progress report I got the highest grade in the class, a C. Doesn't sound high but we are middle set and everyone else got D's ;)

One of my science teachers is leaving at Christmas which I'm super excited about, she has little to no teaching ability. She moves through work way too fast, she complains at us when we don't ask if we don't understand but when we do say we don't understand she calls us idiots :confused:
Also she is refusing to come to parents evening (Thursday) because she's going to the dentist, however she actually said yesterday "I'm not going to go tomorrow because I don't want to miss a day of school so I'm going when it's parents evening instead." Now am I right in saying that going to parents evening would be in her contract?
 
I have a massive piece of creative writing to do for English, but its due on Monday, so I've done the plan and I'll do it at the weekend. Trouble is, I'm the least creative person ever.

Being a freshie is hard, but hey, I've been a straight A student every year leading up to this. I'm doing my A stuff and the teachers love me! :lol:
 
I'm angry right now since I have one C. I have been trying so hard to get at least a B in all of my classes but I'm starting to give up on that. My Chemistry teacher needs to hurry up and put those grades in so I know if I actually have a C or if I have a B.
