I heard that at my school it is about $350 for a year pass. Not sure though, as I'm only 14.

I hope they were just exaggerating, and that the schools don't need that much money. Mine is $35. There are some idiots in my school's parking lots. they've got ratty looking old ricer nissans and they have their exhaust set up to make the maximum amount of noise possible, and they think they are the coolest kids on earth.

Some kid did that to their parents mini van. Kind of funny the first time I figured out it was a mini van creating all that racket. But it soon became annoying.

Today in my second block class I had a substitute who didn't even care that we were all copying each other's tests. Then we had a different sub later in the day who for the last 15 minutes played 20 questions and had the most tragic and terrible scenario ever.

That's ridiculous you have to pay. At my school the unwritten rule is just teachers park in front of the school, and students behind the school. No passes or fees required.

Thats great lol. My friend drives a mini van, he calls the "sexy van" he would love that. One guy pulled up in the parking lot blasting the pokemon theme song (no lie) its usually loud in the lot, but it got real quiet when that guy drove into the lot.

EDIT: everyone just quit reading the thread when I posted this so I took it down, I'm sorry if no one could relate.

Back to girls, how many times have you guys met a girl you really liked and then figured out she has a boyfriend? Especially when you know that guy is a real d-bag. I bet I'm not the only one out there.

Right there with ya.

Good I thought I alienated everyone, there were like 10 people looking at this thread when I posted and all but one of them left right then.

Haha. This thread dies a lot. I'm worried about how will go over the summer.

We must all have study hall at the same time.

Well I've got 100 obscure historical figures to write about, and hate mail from people who drive MX-5's to sift through (check out the Q and A section of the forum). I'm calling it a day.

Double post! Shame on you. Just kidding haha.

I'm quite worried about the fate of my schools marching band. Two of three drummers (me being the third) that will be here next year are considering quitting, and one is very likely too, the other, I don't know. It just can't go swatches and neither can the other two drummers. Band is all that I have. Without it I have no friends and little to look forward to. It's sad that it means so much to me but I need it!

I feel you. It seems that school bands are always over looked and quit out of. Wish we could send you guys some of our drummers, we have somewhere between 20 and 30. Also, unless new students transfer into my school, no new trumpet players next year, it will just be me and the 6 others.

School bands and other related fine arts are always the first to go when the budget cuts come. Band was my life throughout high school and still is, considering I'm majoring in music in college. "Band geek"? Yes. Proud of it? Yes.

The sad reality is the problem with people quitting in a lot of high school bands is that a lot of people in it only do it either for the fine arts credit, or because their parents made them (the worst kind).

First day back after Sprung Broke. Kind of off key and uncoordinated after over a week off. Almost wish I didn't have 9 days off smack in the middle of March and rather have a slightly longer summer. At least I don't get two weeks. That would be a nightmare. At least I could relax and internet all day. That got boring after a while.

At least I'm back in sync with everything.

My spring break starts next week. Bro camping trip followed by some major offroading. Then an AP English Essay, then movies with the girl Im currently chasing. I go hard.

Teachers in secondary school (high school) don't seem to be very cooperative in terms of deciding who will give homework during time x and who will give homework during time y. No teacher that I've ever come across has ever said that they'll be cancelling homework that day because there is a more important test that we have to study for.

They don't seem to realize that we've got homework from other classes as well.
