HKS Genki Hyper Silvia RS2 '04

I found that to be rather incorrect in the D1GP FC3S... so much understeer... Well, come to think of it, I'll give it another try this weekend; I havent driven that thing since I first got it. I drove it once, and I was like, what the hell is this.
 
Stock, with N2 tires and all aids off is the best way to go :) This car is perfectly set-up from the start IMO. The only thing I'd tune on this car is the power.... down! I prefer my drift cars around 300-360 HP, and this one's way past that.

If you, for some reason, want to make it a bit more suitable for grip racing, just stiffen the rear springs a bit and tighten the LSD to about 20/40/30... though it's meant to be a drift car and that's what it does best.

When I first bought this car (it was before joining GTP) I thought, oh crap, this thing oversteers way too much, why the hell is this kind of car in the game and sold it. Then I came here and learned what that D1GP in the car's name meant...

The only thing I don't like about it now are the wheels, I wish I could change them. It's a pretty good grip car too, I just put in R tires.

Don't worry.. I thought the same thing, that it was some kind of F&F street racing car... I had no idea what D1 (or even drifting) was until I checked GTP :dopey:

May I welcome you to GT Planet (if no one has already), I hope you enjoy your time here and find it to be a useful and handy place.

As you are new(ish) just a couple of points

Calling anyone an 'idiot' or using it as a general term for any group of people is not the best way to get to know people, so if you could just keep it calm. I understand you may have meant it as a joke, but be aware it may not have been taken that way.


Also when you signed up to GTP, you did agree to the TOS and AUP, which do say that you must not use slang or abrevaitions, and this does include 'text' style talk. So again if you could avoid it in the future.

Just think for one second, this thread is in the tuning forums, the race tuning forums, the poster of this thread wanted race settings. There's a drift subforum too, if he wanted to talk about drift forums he would've posted it up there.

BTW it's a very good thing, you can now be soo proud that you knew drifting already when you were 6 years old. You are definatly the second drift king now:drool:.

It doesn't matter how long you've know the term "drifting". Why do you feel better than others just because you have known drifting for so long? It's stupid behavior IMO, no need to be so arrogant.

I dont think he needs race settings anymore though...

Anyway...The reason why I said that is because, If you've been here long enough "luftrofl", you've probably witnessed that many, MANY users who are 14 or under, make not very informative/wise posts...and it's normal, because the experience that you have in the topic the thread is about, is often expressed in your posts. Again, sometimes this is not the case because we've had many adults acting like childs too. I'm not going to mention any names but most of the time we see immature comments about someone else's post, they get criticized by either a moderator or an older user, which is ok too. And then we pretty much know what the age range is on the user. So I think age IS a factor in the way you write your response to a post. Just wanted to clear that out 👍

Ozzy is absolutely right. If you disagree with someone, PM them and take it private, no one wants to see two people fight in public, unless its organized like boxing.

Anyway, :rolleyes: I seriously recommend that you don't get the Genki Hyper Silvia for racing reasons. For the money you could get the Mines Skyline with its insane power and acceleration, or the Amuse S2000 GT1, which is an almost perfect car.

I also think the same :) and also if you want to get the sylvia running race car settings try lowering ride height increasing spring rate lowering lsd decel and increase stabs that should work

i like boxing :) im a kickboxer :) now that is organised mayhem
