Cars from the 60's look better than modern cars.

Modern concept cars look better than concepts from the 60's.
 
This is awesome. I cant think of one thing more important than this that happened in 1969. :sly:
 
This car was mostly just to show off Holdens all new V8 which was designed (253 in this case), developed and constructed by Holden. It replaced the Chev small blocks that were being used since 1967 but not completely replaced until the mid 70's, infact the Chev units were never originally planned to be used but Holdens own V8 running behind schedule and competion looming Holden fitted Chev engines (307,327,350). Funnily enough a Chev V8 (LS1) eventually replaced Holden units in the late 90's and it has been Chev V8's (Gen III, IV) units since.
