Rules
Discuss only T-times.
Typical OLR Rules Apply:
No wall touching. Period.
Keep 2 wheels on the track or rumblestrips at all times (Concrete Sections Legal).
No hybrids
No Cheating of any kind
N3 (Road Tires) Only


Time Submission:
Send your time via PM to me, including splits and final run.

Submit the time listed in replay file name by 11:59 PM, Saturday April 7th. You may run as often or as little as you like; you've got the full week to gain the fastest single lap that you can. Please mark it as Week ‘1’ Final Time. :D Try to make it that you don’t resend your times via PM; that can save headache on my part.:)

3rd. 13...etc..

Also, 1 bonus point to each member with the fastest split. So, in essence, the winner can also rake in three bonus points if he's the fastest.

Hello everyone im not put down as having a car yet but hope to soon. Here are some splits for deep forest in the Lancer Evoloution I '92 -10% weight and +7% power on RD's, hope that is right.

T1: 30.657
T2: 1'06.476

Now you have to take me down and stamp on my times :dopey:

God this car is touchy. You're as likely to slide into the grass as you are to stall a drift whenever you turn.

Lol you just have to get use to it, i mean i drove your car the other day and posted a lap that was 1.5 seconds fast than the lap in my evo. the car is great, you wanna swop?????? :) :)
 
Yeah, there's a ton of understeer I couldn't compensate for....sorry. :( But, I got similar times at my two Testing Venues, so.... What can ya do? I'll have some times in tomorrow. Right now the WRS week is giving me fits.

Not on your life lol. I've decided the first hairpin pretty much decides my lap. Stall or slide to much, I restart, not wasting my time trying to make up.
 
I think I'll back off the power in my Camaro a click or two, depending upon how fast I compare to Ren-Tec's times... A V8 with that power/ torque in that decent of a handling package might proove too much for the long sweepers of DF.

nah this evo keeps on pushing when i want it to power over, so that double left hander im loosing a shed load of speed going up the hill because im having to back it off to much. Dam under steer :(
 
Did three laps, did a 107.9 T2

Are the rumble strips the legal boundary, or are the gray pavement areas okay?

EDIT:

Did five more laps. These splits are with me crossing over the gray area just before T1.

T1: 30.956
T2: 1'06.688

I'm not going to get much more time from that.

And yeah, I am using Road tires - I believe those are the N3 tires.

Strictly Arcade. Hence the tune-up factor to most of the cars. 👍

well my first go was alright but for starters my DS2 is broken in that it won't hit full brake but it didn't seem to affect my times that much...

T1: 31.445
T2: 1:07.837

looks like im gonna have to pull 'ye olde DFP' out and hit some corners with it...is it legal to use it?
just to put a bit of fright into ya's, i am usually quite a fair bit quicker with the DFP...

The DFP is strictly forbidden. It instantly turns you into an elite driver capable of driving on rails.

(I'm joking - go ahead and use it) :)

Hey man, good to see you want to compete! :)👍 I duno how I really want to go bout this.. I really didn't want duplicate cars, but if I'm getting limited people, I have a feeling it best to be left alone and leave you do as you wish. So, if that's the car you want, go for it. :D

The DFP is fine. 👍

cheers jetboy, i wasnt sure of what to do cause it looked like the cars were all taken up, but maybe if you can set some criteria for the cars i could pic my own...👍 :crazy:

With the addition of the new cars I think that we should be given another week to test and reevaluate the cars. Just 4 days to deadline isn't enough time.

But it's better to set a deadline asap and the car list can't suffer any changes from that moment on. Plenty to choose from since there's 24 different cars. 👍

damn!! the wrx has crazy handling compared to the evo... i'm currently chasing my evo ghost, which corners better but the wrx has better speed in the higher gears which is making me beat the evo in the last sector but i can't catch it yet through the first sectors...correct me if i'm wrong but you can't go over the grey sections in T1?

have to drift some corners now too! funnily enough on the last corner it's only the back two wheels that remain on the track...:crazy: :crazy:
 
The Concrete Sections are Legal, given that half of these cars handle about as well as a ham sndwhich. ;)
