Oh, stupid psn. Come back online already. I can't practice offline; it just doesn't feel right. Hope it's back in time for the race. What will we do if it's not though?

I imagine the race would be delayed until next weekend like the Spec Miata series did.

wow man, I don't think we should have the race this Saturday. Sunday maybe, althoug it's up to you. This psn business is unreal.

I never tried to sign in today until about 30 minutes ago. Can't sign in at all, with any of my accounts.

If we can't sign in tomorrow, we'll have to push everything back 24 hours.

Good thing it's Easter Weekend, I guess.

EDIT: Actually, 🤬 it. We'll just delay it anyway.

If we can't practice all weekend I'd rather push it back a week to be honest.

Ok then it wasn't just me. What are they doing to the network?
I wanna race already!
Are you with me!!
Happy easter by the way.

Awesome! The 24 hour delay works out perfectly for me :D

Well I guess this late change will exclude me. I have Easter plans for Sunday. The family and I are heading to Newport Beach. No worries. The championship hopes were fun, but I enjoy getting to race with everyone the most.

I guess the good news is this frees up my Saturday(and the next couple of days, as I have never practiced Le Sarthe). Good luck to all of you in the race.

This is ridiculous guys. We need to postpone the race a week. No one can practice and we're not even sure if we can start qualifying tomorrow (or the next day even) so why even shoot for Sunday?

PSN's kind of going through a crisis right now so I don't think it'd be very professional to try to go on with the series like nothing's happening.

I completely forgot about Easter too.

At any rate. Like Redreevos said, I'm gonna pull out of Sunday's race as well if it goes ahead as currently planned.

If this gets pushed back another week I won't get to finish the series. Ill be going to Europe before the last race.

So basically, one way or another we're gonna lose one of the championship hopefuls.... :(

It's just like the 79 championship!
I'm actually getting a message now saying there's maintenance and not just the error code like yesterday.

If the race is pushed back, does that mean we aren't qualifying this weekend?

The fate of the whole race weekend rests souley in the hands of PSN. There's not really anything any of us can do. Apart frm sinking a few beers maybe.

If the race is on Sunday, I don't think I'll be able make it either due to Easter plans.

Here is my opinion: (I understand any change in the schedule is going to be okay for some and not okay for others)

If PSN comes back online before Saturday at 8:30PM EST, we should have the race as sheduled and look at the outage as an uncontrollable circumstance. Hold a 30 minute qualifier where all 16 cars or whatever drive on the course at the same time and we just set the race start as fastest first and do the race. (You would have to make it where nobody could leave the track once the qualifying began after map reset.)

If PSN does not come back online before Saturday night, well then I have no idea what we should do.

The solution. If PSN comes back on qualifying is cancelled.

That means Qualifying was rained out for our purposes
The qualy order is the championship order. They do it like this in nascar and F1

I decided to push it bazck to Sunday becausepeople were saying to make it sunday.

Now I'm getting people telling me to make it next week.

Honestly, looking through the last few posts, I think it's easier to make it next week. I wanted this to be the marquee race of the series, almost like the whole "championship within a championship" concept, and the last thing I want is for people to not be able to make it.

:/

I cannot race on Sunday either, meaning Red, Wardez, WiiFreak, and I won't be there. Please postpone the race one week if PSN is not back online sometime today. If it does come back online but there is not enough time for qualifying, I like the idea of treating qualifying as if it was rained out.

I see PSN is still down :/

So while we have a week to wait, I think it's okay if we go a little off topic for a little bit. Perhaps we can talk about the future.

After this series is done, what should we do next? Both in terms of what should we do for Season 2 of Integras, and what other car(s) we should race with.

Seeing as how It'd be better to wait a bit before starting IWC Season 2, like how Spec Miata and the Lexus series both have.

Perhaps Wardez, RT and I can plan out a Season 2 for the Lexus'.

Or we can use an entirely different car again. Right now, I've been using the Camaro Z28 RM, and it's a pretty fun car to drive. A spec series using them would be fun, and very different from the Integras.

After this past season of using the IS-F RM, I don't think any of us grew fond enough of the car to want to organize a second season.

Eh. I guess it just holds a little special place in my heart  [/corny]

This.

Fun car offline, but not online. I would like to participate in another series, not of my own creation however. Although helping organize something I can certainly do. I can look around for a car to use. Something out of the ordinary could be fun.
