Ok, who should I follow in? Not sure if I've added you as a Psn friend...

whats the room number

Room number is on page 7

Good racing today guys, had fun racing on both the Indy courses. I feel like we will have a pretty close season. I feel like I have a shot at being in the top 3 as long as RT, Wardez, and Alien doesn't show up to the races. lol

Sorry I missed this one. Went out looking for cars and lost track of time. Maybe next time.

Totally agree with blackice, the indy race was excellent. I apologise to anyone i may of hit or tapped, i did miss my braking points a couple of times. Just watched the reply and there was some naughty stuff going on on lap 7 and 8 from everyone in the midfield. But its pretty typical stuff, its racing!

Anyhoo, hope i can improve my qualifying and mix it with the quick guys up front. How the hell you do 1:38 is beyond me. My wheel cant come soon enough.

The Token Brit.

Fun race. Couple of lessons learned.

Hopefully we can stick a little closer to schedule next time.

And what's with the weaving all over the straight? I probably could understand it on the final lap, but not before.

They're trying to break the draft. I don't understand it either as the guy behind will weave too and still be able to draft. I never even bother to do that.

If I moved from the racing line it was only to break the tow of the following car. I wouldn't call it weaving.

And once you get on the front straight to start weaving, they've already had enough of a draft from turn 11 on to catch and pass you by turn 1 anyway.

Mostly I just weaved once or twice to figure out whether I wanted the inside or outside going into turn 1, with no real attempt to break someones draft at all.

Also, I took some pictures. Mostly of myself, but I'll probably take some more of others later. I'll post them up soon.

I thought OLR = one move per straight. Whether to break the tow or not.

Ok, I hear you. I will try not to 'weave' in future, one move only.

Sorry I missed it, sounds like a great race. I'll definitely make the season though.

Had a hectic morning.

Hey Wardez, if I send you the video, would you capture it and post on youtube, like with the IS-F vids?

You and RT missed a hell of a race.

Yeah, just upload it and send it my way, I'll give it a quick treament. I'm off to work now - like a bo$$ xD

Haha, okay. I'll pm you.

Sry Mule, i was watching Mexico vs Paraguay so couldnt show up

It's fine, man.

But anyway, looking at other people's replays, I've found that BlackIce was running a turbo. The graphic on his screen, and obvious sound of the blowoff valve gives it away.

Gonna have to ask you to take it off. Good thing this was a practice race.

Great race today fellas, quite a rollercoaster for me :D 11th to 3rd to 11th lol. Great racing with brosif and syjones for me...someone else was hounding me for the first 8 laps or so as well...

Question: the season races are longer than that right? I definitely felt like staying on the road with these cars :D

Yes. First post gives the length of the races. They range from approx. 45 minutes (Tsukuba, Custom track, and Deep Forest, to 90 minutes (Le Mans)

That "someone else" would have been me, as well. lol

is it to late to sign up for this?

Haha I've looked at that first post way too many times not to notice that :P

Lol having you behind me reallly showed the difference in tunes, I'd blow you away in sectors 2 and 3 but everywhere else you caught me so easily. Could have been just draft, but it was crazy frustrating lol :)

Likely the draft. My tires wearing down probably had something to do with it as well, as the only times I really noticed people were pulling away from me were when I was battling someone else.

Looking at the schedule I'm going to miss race #1. There's an import time-attack/drag racing/drift event here on that day, and I will probably be gone all day.

Bleh. That's too bad. But there's an extra race in this season so hopefully you have a better chance at the championship! :D

My battle with syjones and Stig

Now with Brosif added in, this is where I get a massive run and think I can divebomb everyone:

roadcourseindy16.jpg

roadcourseindy17.jpg

I almost make it...
roadcourseindy18.jpg

...almost
roadcourseindy19.jpg

roadcourseindy20.jpg

Pit stops:

roadcourseindy21.jpg

Calamity corner, with Stig waiting for Brosif to rejoin the track, and my group fast approaching:

roadcourseindy22.jpg

I use Stig as a pick to get by dsgerbc...:

roadcourseindy23.jpg

...only to get hit myself. Though I guess it was because dsgerbc missed his brake point, as he fell off the track, and out of it:

roadcourseindy24.jpg

Coming to the white flag, syjones forces me high, and instead of lifting or bump drafting him, I dunced out for a sec and swerve left. Big mistake:

roadcourseindy25.jpg

The resulting loss of speed allowed Brosif by, where he'd also get by syjones in turn 1, and pull away, partly because it's Brosif and he's super fast, partly because I kept pressuring him; while staying behind him:

roadcourseindy26.jpg

This is how you pass someone coming to the checkers on this track: Get a run on them off of Turn 11, then make them think you're going high coming off 12...

roadcourseindy27.jpg

Only to dive low into turn 13:

And voila! 6th place is mine ;]

Great pics! And a guest starring roll for me! :) Hopefully a different out come in the future tho ;)
