The Toyota is my favourite but both the ZG and the 280 are stunning too. And the Pathfinder's all kinds of awesome as well.👍

The truck is not done yet, the carbon decals went bad, but it will be for the convention's contest. You'll like it too. The corona needs wheel detailing, and the zg, fender mirrors. You'll see.

What, there's more to come? I thought they were all finished. Can't wait to see the additional details/mods. 👍

Yes, I just finished them to be adequate to present them in the contest, but there was a lot of detailing missing. Heck, the panda AE86 won't even keep those wheels, those were there just because the axle lenght was right, as that entire car was a from-one-day-to-the-next project. It'll see carbon fiber too, a license plate, and I don't know what else.

Got around to doing up the photos so here's the other firetruck I got for a low price with missing broken parts. There wasn't as much fixing up to do, but it was also harder to fix than the last one.

Story here

Greetings again my friends.

Was lookin' around in shopping and spotted these .... already noticed them but they looked so cheesy like Maistos ... I actually thought they were like rebranded Maistos... but this time I taked a better look and bought some .. they come in a little box , for my suprise ... they have interiors and all .. and side mirrors !!! If it was in the past I would not bought them ... but since I saw what you guys come up with a cheeky Maisto I thought to myself... damn ... this could be good !! So here's some pics and let me know what you guys think !!!

And lastly .... did not know this car until I saw the base of the miniature.... Corvette Indy Concept ?

Any ideas / suggestions ? Let me know if you already saw these ... it's totally unbranded ... only says "China" lol

Yes, they are made by Motormax. They were sold here a couple years ago. They have several good castings that are utterly ruined by their horrible wheels, including one of the best RX7 castings known to man.

Really ?? Thanks for the info @Cano !!! Went back there and snatched a couple more ...

The lambo is actually pretty decent all the way around even have some kind of lace wheels . Looking at the HW roadster .... this one wins me over cuz I have a struggle with those awesome HW's not having side mirrors..... would love to install some in them but have no idea where to start .. must be one of the trickiest part in customizing right ?

Unfortunately no RX7 there :( Talking about those scummy wheels .... went right to drilling mode !!!

Is it just me or this Viper casting is just fabulous ?? Never saw a Motormax before.... I had a right feeling then and brought them home ehehe ;)

I have that exact same Supra I stole off some student's science project in grade 6.

Oops, I did it again.

BMW M3 wagon. Again. If you squint it doesn't look half bad.

It actually doesn't look half bad. Keep us posted, I really like how that's shaping up 👍

And now on to some bad news. A couple of customs I finished for the japanese car contest got damaged.

I took them to the contest inside a 5-pack case and after getting home they stayed there for a couple days. When I took them out to photograph them and store them safely in my cases, the paint in these two chipped. It seems that they weren't fully dry yet and the clearcoat finished drying in contact with the plastic of the 5-pack case.

The Matchbox 280Z isn't too bad, but it's still enough to send the paint job to hell.

The Playart Corona is just destroyed.

So, uh. yeah. I'll be repainting them again soon, and I'll also take advantage of the situation to complete a couple of things in them that I didn't do because of the time constraints, like getting the interior color to the door panels of the Corona, and probably make mirrors for both. I hope paint stripper doesn't eat epoxy, because I'll have to do the Z's rear wing again if that happens.

Kinda new to this forum bit. Lol. Wheels prob came from a dub city or simular model. Fun to swap the wheels. Got alot of models to play with. 180+ and growing.

I don't see what the issue is with that. Why is everyone so uptight on double posting around here?

Double Posting

“Double posting” occurs when a user makes two consecutive posts, one after another. If this is done for no apparent reason, “double posting” is typically frowned upon and may result in a warning or infraction for “spam”.

However, double-posting is not forbidden, and can be useful in many cases. For example, if a reasonable amount of time has passed or you have significant information to add to the topic, present it in a new post so that others, including thread subscribers, are made aware of the update.
It can also be seen as attempts to raise your post count. In this case I don't believe a reasonable time had passed, the edit button was necessary here. Rules are rules.

Tying into what @R1600Turbo said, it also just helps the flow of a page more: with 30 posts per page, if one person double- (or in this case, septuple-) posts, it means less of the conversation can take place on the same page.

@DUBer Welcome to the 'Planet. We frown upon text speak (2 in place of "to/too", etc), please keep that in mind for the future. Nice collection 👍

That does make sense from a conversation point of view. You could miss an interesting comment and have to go back a few pages to find it. Especially people like me who most post of a smartphone.

I found the 1M by accident one day at the store. It is a Matchbox and labeled as the M1. The stock wheels were somewhere closer to larger Hot Wheels sizes and I had a set because I used the smaller wheels from two sets to build the ZAMAC Porsche a couple weeks back.
The pictures make the car look a lot taller than it is. I think it came out great. The rear end on the 1M is so nice. I'd love to own one in real life but they are fetching too much money.
All I did was the wheels swap, painted them gloss black (we're a plastic red), made custom axles and painted the exhaust. Wish the Hot Wheels were detailed that much on the chassis. It looks really close to real life at the rear subframe.

Can't wait for my BMW to arrive. 2 weeks to go!

I got nothing new still, but I was going through my facebook photos and found this old one:
For the new people, this is the flat-black series of customs I named Stealth Project.

Lets see if you remember how many of those and which ones are in my hands now (:

Hello. Ive actually been customizing hotwheels and matchbox since i was 9. it amazes me to see that the trend is now booming. I look forward to seeing more of your creations. Ive decided to start some projects and share some. enjoy.
