Mainly only the Suzuka one, Tsukuba 9hr and both 24hr races I get boted easily with all of these and i just end up quitting but I really want to complete them.

Do them in small chunks. Invite mates round and try and beat each others laptimes. Have entertainment on your laptop next to you.

Pretend you're a cop and every time you lap an AI, try to spin them out. Without sabotaging your own race of course.

take a car that is very close to the opposition.

To be honest I also still need the 24h racse and the 9hours on tsukuba.

I did the susuka oine and enjoyed it aswel, raining cats and dogs the whole race...

They're not that bad if you break them into chunks of about 2 hours. The 9 hours of tsukuba is really the stuff of nightmares though. What possessed them to use tsukuba as an endurance track, I will never know.

Hi!

First: Do some training at different PP levels and tires on the race itself. Check which ones will make for an exciting race but keep in mind that AI will not make mistakes where you can easily make some as the races are way too long.

Second: Do not use HUD (only fuel/tire wear, if this is possible as I could not update the game yet). If not, disable the HUD and activate it from time to time just to check progress.

Third: Race for real, do not overtake unless it is totally clean, follow cars ahead for some laps and get your own rythm. Treat your tires as if you had payed a fortune for them.

Fourth: You do not have to be on first position by second lap, you got plenty of time to deal with lap times, traffic, overtaking, fuel usage, tire wear and so on.

Fifth: If you are tired, suspend race and come back after you take a rest, let's use this feature for healthy reasons, isn't it?

All in all try to feel totally inmersed on the race and behind the wheel that is how I managed to complete the 24h of Le Mans and just for me that race was quite enjoyable.

These are some of my advices.

Merry Christmas! :)

Yea, Tsukuba. What a nightmare. I've did the 4hr one, but the 9hr one is still untouched. :D
One lap in under 1 minute, everytime the same corners, you are really getting tired after only 30 minutes.

@OP: you can save & resume the endurance races, so that would be a option. 👍

Or if you are really tired, you can glitch some races. :)

Aye, although 9 hours on a track that's too short and 24 punishing hours on the big one possibly helps me understand why the Le Mans 24hr is so popular....or something like that!

Sometimes I only drove for long enough to wear out a set of tyres, other times went through several sets.....I never had a schedule:tup:

easy. drive the car that one of the AI's mid-pack racers drive so its competeitve

very well said. +1

I use picture in picture and watch TV while I'm driving. NHL and NFL games make the time go by. I set the Picture and Picture to cover up how much time is left.

Also use a slower car to make it closer and more exciting. And if you get to many laps ahead, do silly things like seeing how long it takes to go around the outside and inside of the track on the grass. Also pit lots and experiment with different tires.

Edit: All I have left is Nurburgring 24hours

I did each race in 1 - 1 1/2 hour chunks. So yeah, the 24 hour races took quite a bit of time to complete, but it was doable and prevented me from going insane. I think the endurance races would be a lot better if the tire and fuel wear were not so exaggerated. I am hoping PD decides to make those more realistic in a future update.

Game Of Thrones Audiobooks read by Roy Dotrice, trust me theres enough in book 1 to get you through a 24h race, and theres 5 books.

agreed, must be competitive, so you have to plan for tire changes, compound, fuel loads and keep your PP at mid level or less, make yourself work, and time will seem to
go faster:)

I agree with the others. Pick a competitive (underpowered) car and race your heart out. If you miscalculate and you end driving away 2nd place or your pit strategy is much better, then listen to some tunes while you race, that really helps.
