I totally forget how I found it. I found it back when it was an MSN community. I think I was searching and just came upon it one day.

ok, here's the story that occurred to me (from my finding of the Gran Turismo series). It all started when I got a video game for Christmas that I couldn't use (pro-sk8r 2 for the dreamcast I think, or something like that). Anyway, I only had a Playstation, so we had to trade it in for another game. We went to EBX (electronics boutique express) and traded it in. it was worth $20, Which I was able to search their racks with. I got to the used racing games, and found a game that appeared promising (GT2, nonetheless). I read the back to find out if it had the dodge viper (my envisionment of a perfect car at that point). Of course, it did. We bought it and came home. Immediately after arriving at home, I started the game. I bought the used celica and got my game started. before long, I needed to get the infamous lisences and had to go through the pain-stakingly difficult lisence tests. I got to about the 5th I-B test before I couldn't go any further, and so decided I would go and look for some cheats for the game. On Google I searched, and stumbled upon the world's largest Gran-Turismo centered community; the GTF. it was nice there, but my filter service found out about it and blocked it due to "profanity". I decided to try and find other Gran Turismo forums, and with the help of Famine, I found three sites; the HGT, the GTN, and GT3Times. These sites weren't anywhere near up to par with the GTF, but they tied me over for a while. Eventually I Got GT3 and was desperately low on cash and had only my A lisence. I came to GTPlanet.net and found a great resource for my GT3 needs (wallpapers, screenshots, prizecar-lists, etc...). Now, it was after a while, when I really, really missed the volume of people at the GTF, that I noticed the URL on my wallpaper (gtplanet.net). I came here, clicked the community link, and liked what I saw. I looked around for a couple days before actually joining, but that was more my getting-to-know the forums to decide if I liked them. Well, I stuck around, so I must've really liked them (they've only gotten better).

I was looking for a prize car list on google.ca and GTP came right up!

At first i only thought that there was a GT3 forum (yes this is the first internet forum i ever joined), then i found there was The Rumple Strip, The Test Forum, The Grand Theft Auto Fourm and sooo much more.

Basically the same thing here. ;)

I wanted to know where I could get an F1 car. I found this site, bookmarked, registered, and then aciidentaly deleted all of my bookmarks. It took me about 5 months to find this again (Partially because I couldn't remember what I searched for). Google showed me the light.

I was at GTF for a day and wandered aroung and found it to be an ok site. But i forgot to bookmark it and closed it out. The next day I went to go back to GTF but then I realized I never bookmarked it so i typed in gt to try to find it again and noticed gtp.net.

By word of mouth from friend. i was stuck on gran turismo tuning and stuff, then my friend referred this website to me and told me how it had nice drifitng videos too, which attracted me here.

I doubt there are over a million threads asking this same question. And I doubt you can have a fraction of a thread.

Please explain or face the ultimate punishment of nine thumps!

That's still a whole thread, even if it has zero content. All a thread is is a container for posts. The container can be empty.
