I would love to know...and is there a glitch for getting the X1?

Exploiting can ruin the value of any game. I suggest that you don't do it, for the sake of the full experience with the game. If you do, you'll probably regret it.

This thread should be locked to not release exploitations nor mere information to the aforementioned to the public.

I hear this a lot, yet no one can back it up. Thank you for at least being civil about your opinion, but please, don't confuse it with fact.

The thing is, if anything ruined the game it's GT Mode [this of course will be different for different people, some people may not think anything is ruined at all]. Getting around GT Mode has made the game exponentially more fun and because of this I will be able to enjoy the game more and for longer. There is usually more than one way to do things.

go to gamefaqs, that's all they are talking about over there. I doubt you will get much help with that here.

This forum is made up mostly of people who actually like earning cars. Grinding to earn the cash is part of the game and makes it more rewarding when you finally get that awesome car you've worked all night to get. Besides, there are plenty of people willing to lend you a car if you only need it for one race.

Game exploiting is frowned upon, and rightly so. I don't care how much fun it is to cheat.

It's not right at all. The only thing people like you are doing is trying to force your will on others. That's just not right. It's akin to a stranger coming into your house and telling you when you can sleep, eat, and watch TV.

It has a lot to do with the misuse and abuse of the word cheating. There is no cheating being done here. Eventually though, logic will win out, and people will stop trying to manipulate each other. I just hope it doesn't take too long to reach that point.

It's funny that if this game was on the X360 you would get game banned (game in question only) from MS live services for not "cheating"...

I am grinding B-spec right now, so that I can get an X2010. I think it's about 14+ hours of straight grinding to get from level 31 to level 32. I am doing it by having Bob drive the FGT that I also had to grind using a RM'd ZR1 in order to raise the credits to afford. All in all, I think this is costing about 7 days of leaving the PS3 on 24/7 in order to "earn" the X2010 so that I can enjoy driving it when I want.

All I wanted was to be able to use any car this game has in fair and competitive online matches and to be able to practice with em like I want offline. "Grinding" to me is doing somethine I dislike in order to attain something I want. I don't think a game should be "grinding". You shouldn't have to "earn" anything by throwing away a ton of your time doing boring repetitive **** because it gives you the most credits and exp. The cars should just be there for you to pick and choose and drive. I would never grind a-spec like I am doing on b-spec. And I think grinding b-spec is just wasting electricity and the world would be better off if were just gifted the damn cars already. I mean, really....how does starting an endourance B-spec race and then shutting off your tv and going to sleep, waking up to the race being completed and getting 1/20th closer to completing a level make sense or makes anyone feel like they earned anything other then a trophy in how to be wasteful?

And in some places, you get put in jail for trying to learn because you aren't the right race or gender. The world is a crazy place sometimes.

Its ultimately more rewarding earning your cars by actually getting your hands dirty, not exploits. It ruins the experience.

What cars are you using to win the races you enter and "earn" the rewards? If it's like most people, then you're using cars that completely overpowers AI cars and in many cases will lap the AI cars numerous times before the race is over. That really makes you feel like you earned something? You don't think it's an exploit? To me, that just makes me feel like I am wasting my time jumping through stupid hoops.

I read a thread discussing endurance races and a few of the people that call duping an exploit are talking about how they used a car that weighs 500kg with 960hp (@there) in a race against cars with half the power and double the weight so that they can just lap them a bunch of times, then leave their car parked for a couple hours and come back to a win. LOL, really. Sounds like the game must not be fun if you have to do stupid **** like that.

Well the developers clearly made the game for you to progress and earn cars, not to have them all unlocked from the start. What a novel concept, it's just like any other game out there (you have to progress to unlock things)! Just because you want the car NOW doesn't mean the developers must give it to you NOW or that you deserve to have it straight from the start.

As far as B-Spec is concerned, such a shame that you just earn money and cars for doing nothing eh? I can't believe you're upset that you can earn stuff for letting your PS3 run when you're not using it.

I'm not saying whether it's right or not or whether or not it's time for change, but GT has never been about having all cars unlocked from the go. Even in Arcade Mode so why would you assume they owe you all cars from the start?

And as much as you guys want to blame PD to make it seem like it's not an exploit or as though you're not exploiting out of choice, well you're wrong. It's clear that they tried to take measures to prevent duplication and abuse of the gifting system by not letting you share saves between PSNs, whether they patch this or throw in the white towel realizing that people will always find something to exploit is another question. Please enough with the annoying justifications trying to make PD the bad guys. Why the heck do you guys all get so angry when someone is upset about you exploiting the game? Especially when they worked hard to get something and you came in and got it for nothing, it's understandable that they are upset and they don't want these exploits to be done. Just because someone is upset with you does not mean you need to attack them back.

And just so you don't think I'm all high and mighty on you, I used the Birthday exploit while it was still easy and I admit that. I'm not going to try to justify it by saying PD made the game too hard blah blah blah I was forced to do it and I will not be offended if someone tells me that I didn't deserve or earn my 330, XJR-9, R92CP, Peugeot 905 because they are right. I did it because I wanted more cars as fast as I could get them, yes I exploited the game for that, no I didn't earn them and no I don't deserve them but yes I am happy that I have them.

Lastly, you guys aren't the only ones with jobs, families or other more pressing things to do than play a video game. I know very well how it feels to grind real life and even during those times I didn't need to unlock everything right away to enjoy MW2 (weapons), SF4 (characters), GT5P (cars) nor did I need to finish other games quickly (GOW, HAWX, Red Dead, etc). When I had the time (which was rare while doing 80 hour weeks) I sat down, played the games I enjoyed the most and the parts I enjoyed the most. If I didn't have something unlocked, well I spent a little time whenever I had free time working towards unlocking it. That's just the way games are.

Asking for advice like this contravenes the terms of service, doesn't it?

It also contravenes the PSN ToS due to its nature as an Exploit.
