So, then, how did I get that S.S. Trueno a long time ago driving Beginner 80's? Maybe it was a stock eight six who knows... Maybe it was the wrong race...

and you get the stock eight six from the sunday cup (the very first race) beginner

then you get S.S. version in FR race in amature

Aah! Now I remember, that was when I transitioned over from my eight-six over to the FC. I used to hate driving the eight-six in GT3 because I didn't understand drifting and I thought it was way too loose. Now I love the damn thing. Go figure

Man that was a ***** to get, I suck at racing. I found that the easiest way to get it was using a racing Viper(forgot the exact name) and sticking some slicks on it for laguna sea, the other 2 tracks are easy as hell with the Viper.

If you haven't used any codes for any licenses or money or to get cars, then whatever car you choose to use on whatever race is fair in my opinion. God knows some people spend a whole lot of time racing the same race over and over to get money to buy the cars they want so they can dominate the competition. I think it's fun to go back later on, after you've won everything, and try to win the races with less powerful (and thus more "fair") cars...

You could also just learn to drive it, it you want low lap times.
But as it is set up stock, it will tend to swing it's ass end out quite a bit.
It is a fun car to slide around. But it's a bit squirrelly for "racing", at least for my taste.
