How do I operate head tracking?

I know I can only do it in arcade mode but I cant get it to work, I have tried it close and far away, when I go into the eye toy menu the video preview is only snow is that normal?

In the options menu you can change the settings for the PSEYE, and no, you shouldn't see snow.

Does the PSeye light up when in arcade mode ?

No, you should see a picture when you go into the setup menu. If you're getting snow than something is wrong, maybe with the eye itself.

The eye does light up with a blue dot but I realised its a PS2 eye toy, but I know it works on PS3 my mrs uses it on singstar, I guess it's not GT5 compatible though, can anyone confirm this?
