How do you intend to play GT5? (HDTV-SDTV/PC monitor/wheel/controller)

Can someone give me advice please? I might get a g25 but i dont know if its really worth all that money compared to a DFGT. And does anyone have any advice to what wheel stand to get? Thanks.

Checkout the rennsport Wheel Stand. It is probably the best out there. It is also very stable. You will also have to buy the G25 Shifter adapter for it.

DF GT + PC monitor (but it's 24 inches AND has a full 1080p support through the HDMI, so I'm happy with it) and my Logitech X-530 speakers :).

Also, for the multiplayer battles we'll be using my family's domestic-build 32" HDTV and another DF, this time Pro for some elbow-blending action :D

Maybe next year I'll earn enough dough to upgrade my gear, for now gotta stick witch this stuff, which works great for me.
 
guys? What about the PSEye? Head tracking? Does it ring any bell?:rolleyes:

Able to track the movement of Cockpit Camera interface (confirmed in full 3-D. The camera can be fully manipulated and you can opt to have your head tracked by the PSEye)

Having now just ordered a G25, guess its going to be wheel and TV :D

Just need to work out how exactly I will mount it now!
Hopefully will get that second a lap speed increase everyone keeps talking about!
 
Logitech G25, bought on the original Play £99 offer, a Dell 2407 24" screen, and just got Creative T40 Series II speakers. This setup is shared between my PS3, 360 and Macbook.

I have a G25.
The sound is provided by a 5.2 surround sistem, not 5.1 becouse I have 2x100 RMS subwoofer 1 Canton and 1 XTZ.
The A/V Maranzz
The TV is a 23" HD 720p Samsung. I sometimes play on a 900p 19" pc screen.
And the last detail but very important is the internet conection: ↑500kbps↑ ↓12000kbps↓ Ping: 40

Hey does anyone know if its possible to hookup a PS3 to a cinema projector, we have this 1$ cinema in Montreal, and i know the dude who runs it he's aright, so maybe we can hook up GT to a 30ft screen!

As long as there's an A/V, Component, or an HDMI port on the projector, I don't see any reason why not. 👍

I'll be playing GT5 on a 26'' HD set, Dualshock 3/G25. 👍
 
Haven't check this forum in ages, but now with GT5 nearing its release I'm just as excited as everyone here.👍

I'll be enjoying GT5 in my self-built cockpit and a 60" Sony SXRD.
Been adding/upgrading my cockpit bit by bit over the past months. Don't want to clog this thread with pictures but here on s2ki are pictures and videos of my progress overtime.

I voted "With a DualShock 3/Sixaxis on an HDTV"
because it is the best I could vote.

I'm going to play GT5 in my living room, watching a 100" screen (InFocus DLP Projector, 1080p) and listening from my 5.1 Home Cinema (Yamaha AV, HiEnd AudioSpectrum FL-FR-C Speakers & Crystal Audio SL-SR & Sub).
I can't use G25 in my living room but I'll try it......
I'll be able to change my projector and buy a new HiEnd 1080p projector (LCoS) to have the best image!!!

1080p pc monitor with a dualshock. Mu buddy has a g25 so I dont care to buy one. Honestly I like being able to sit back with the controller and relax while I play.
 
With a DualShock 3/Sixaxis on an HDTV.

I would buy a decent wheel but I'm strapped with cash now that I have to pay for college. :(

I have pretty much the same setup, only I bought my G25 for £125. Silly me
 
Sixaxis DUALSHOCK 3 on a normal TV Bumper View. Which TV?? HD or not does not make a difference to me, as long as I can play and i can see everything.

I voted for Pad...

But have since taken up Play on their G25 for 100 notes offer...

So - I will be using a G25 with a 1080P HDTV...
