I say Tsukuba something like this: Ss-ku-ba. I dunno if it's exactly right but it sounds okay.

i dont think it will be tolerated, you could have just said everywhere, or japan, or the USA (whichever is correct).

You can believe whatever you like. We are used to foreigners mispronouncing everything. Very rarely, you see an gaijin person speaking good Japanese.
