when the roulette light is going around, try pressing x only on the car you want every time it jumps on it or a bit before. and it might help? (placebo? idk, i do that lol)

I was doing it also and always ending up with car I didn't want xD
Most cruel situation was selection of 2 Group 1 cars and stock Renault Megane.. Guess what game decided to give me xD

When it spins around, I click as many times as possible when it goes over the car I want, it's worked a couple of time and makes it more fun

I don't think there is any method to it I've not pressed any buttons and I still have 4 Audi S1 Pikes Peak Rally cars and a few other duplicates. I've had game since day 1.

na, i think rally is rarely done in GT sport online i think. it just doesn't handle as well as i would of hopped.

The Pikes Peak car was my Day 1 reward!
Never repeated, but I do have four Mazda Roadsters
My first duplicate was in the Open Beta, and, surprise, it re-rolled the dice and gave me another car taking away one of the pair it had created. Oddly, the one it removed was the one with the livery I made the previous day

Top weirdness...I've got some from the dlc that crashed downloading but I have since acquired replacements...need to sort the oddities out ha ha

Is there a way to easily delete all the duplicates? Thanks to the daily workout I have 3 or 4 the same cars now and tons of doubles. I also have a broken HDI Fap that says to download some code again I don't have anymore, yet I have another one anyway. Can't delete the bugged one.

You just have to drive a marathon distance every day (42.2 km, 26.2 miles, no matter if is arcade, challenge, sport mode, lobby, time trial, race, drift, the total of the day is accounted on the bottom left, right between the ammount of exchange miles and your game level)
The car is awarded when you exit from the sub menus to the main screen automatically after completing the distance. Sometimes it doesn't work, simply enter another race, time trial or something and exit again and should work just fine.
On other hand, trying to make as much as possible of the game without buying any car, still need a Renault Clio for Clio Cup
But not complaining, the game as been pretty generous to me, some duplicates but not at outrageous level.

Does those 26 miles must be made all in one day or it doesn't matter when you make them ? If I make 26 after 3rd day do I get that bonus car ?
I mean, in one day I made some endurance races, for much more than 26 miles, I think it was more than 100 miles, but I didn't get more cars in that day.

Any distance over 26miles a day is then 'wasted' or not counted in your region's 24hr day.
So basically if you want to maximise your cars just drive 26 miles a day. That's what I do.
If you watch the indicator the top right part of the screen after you done a race there will be a tick once your workout is done and as soon as you get back to the main menu, you get the roulette wheel of crap.

If I get a double I sell it instantly - no need for doubles atm. Still waiting for that special R18 TDI "Le Mans" that only can be won in the daily roulette

There's been some discussion about that but I think that at this point everyones experience would indicate that its random.
I feel like its worked 50/50 for me, sometimes I get the $1 mil. grp.x machines but the other times I get the Golf so overall, its random.
btw. I keep my doubles as I keep an N600 tune for one car (for example) and an N500 tune for another one and its easy to just pick a car rather than swap a tune.

Some N cars [ or all of them, I believe ], if you have doubles, can be moved at upper N group, by raising the power level, some cars can move up 2-3 levels. Gr1 to 4 and GrX can't move to another category, as I saw, so doubles are useful for that range
