So that's why you stuck those Hella 1 million candle lights on the front. To get those pesky M3's out the fast lane ;)

I tell ya, there are some sissies on the roads up here. I actually just put some bright ass halogen bulbs in my Day Time Running lights so people will see me coming easier and I'm working on a conversion to enable my fog lights to work without the headlights being on. (Don't know why Lexus made it that way, but it's stupid IMO.)
Also, I'm hoping that the DTRL will be better for driving in the snow at night. The normal headlights which are the High Intensity Discharge (HID) lights are sometimes too bright when the snow is really coming down. They seem to illuminate every single snowflake for miles. Actually makes it harder to see. :irked:

But now with the halogens and the HID's, when I have the high beams on, I can litterally see for miles. Which is a good thing cus all the animals in the forest are starting to come down to the lower elevations. Need to avoid those pesky Elk and Moose as they are frickin HUGE animals. Don't want any of them sittin in my lap.

Halogen lights are brilliant. Literally and figuratively. They look much better then normal ones when you see them in you rear view mirror. 👍

I have a lot of "lights" on my way home, ergo no matter what I do, if I get stuck at the first set, my trip home is regulated by the timing of future ones :grumpy:

It's about 10k. The other half's got the car for her job which is in a different direction, so I now either cycle or run.

Just for the hell of it, here's my whole route to work:

Red arrow tip is my house, blue arrow tip points to the cleaning bays at Lou Fusz Mazda/Subaru.
Leaving my driveway I get to the intersection right there and make a left. Follow the road down to the circle and make a right(you have to). Drive the short distance on that road and come to the 4 way intersection, make a left(if I go like 3/4 throttle I can peel into 2nd around the corner, hehe).Follow that road past the 2 circles on the left and make a left onto the road after the circles. Drive down(actually up then down, the top of the hill is a big blind spot so you have to be careful) that road to the bigger road. Make a right and follow that road all the way up to the big road, make a left(this intersection was where my dad's '84 RX-7 GSL-SE was totalled, followed by our '89 MPV, stupid red light runners). Follow the big road to the 2nd street before the cloverleafs. Make a left and follow that road straight down and turn into the parking lot and park somewhere in the lot to the left of the building.

Man it's nice to live so close by that you can get a picture including your house and your work. :)

Oh yes, MazKid had the right idea, but in my quest to be cooler than MazKid, I drew the whole thing! Ah, ha ha ha ah! Red = the general vicinity of home, blue = the general vicinity of work. Unlike MazKid, I'm not crazy enough to give out my address. :odd:

I drive about 15 miles to work each day. Not today though. After a year and three days of working at Popeyes, I finally quit. Yay.

MazKid
I didn't give out my address. Stop trying to be better than me!

No, but you gave out exact directions from a place whose address is on their website. And you've given me your address before, the house number is five digits.

Popeye's rocks, but Churches is a better deal. When I was younger I wanted to work at Popeye's so bad because I could eat chicken all the time if I was working there.

Doug, if someone wants to drop by my house all they gotta do is let me know ahead of time and I'd be glad to meet them.
