How large is your GT 5 Save??

Do you mean KB, cause MB would mean your file is 6.182 GB.

I have the smallest save file so far, it's only 690 KB. I don't really have that many cars, 350-400 last time I checked, and I only have 700 paint chips. Still, I thought it'd be slightly above 1000 KB.

No, I haven't. I'm terrible with stuff like that. The strangest thing is that it came out of nowhere at the end of the straight on Daytona. I got rear ended & my car literally launched high into the air, tumbling as it went. Then it hit the deck & just rolled & rolled & rolled. I thought it was never gonna stop! Without doubt the most spectacular shunt I've ever had. That AI was clearly having a bad day. (Apologies for being off topic.)

haha sounds soo epic!! I wish I saved my replays, I had one where 2 AI sandwiched me the first chicane in monza I forgot my braking point went straight into it ==' After few laps regained my position to find an AI stuck between the distance indicators, kept reversing into one and ramming the other xD

Just double checked and I actually only have 75 cars all together, that would explain the small size (690 KB). In garage mode it looked like I had loads of cars.

It's actually not that bad looking at cars, backing up and that. It's only bad when I load up and view museum cards, it can take minutes to go back sometimes.

The museum cards and the bug that was around at the start is the reason it's so big, I was very close to getting the bug when they fixed it.

man...i'm like a third of your save file and i'm bugged at waiting on cards to load maybe i should start deleting duplicates.... 💡

Exactly. The prefured action on this forum is to use the search feature, Not just fill the place up with loads of threads all about the same thing, hence the redirection to a thread about this very subject last used oct 2011.

deos anyone here have more than 1500 cars ? i got 1480 cars i wonder how much damage / effects the save data size .

I have around the same number of cars, mine save file was 4.7MB, but I didn't open much museum cards, i think those affect size quite a lot.

I'm still under 1000k. I'm surprised that after updating my game from v1.00, the save game is growing considerably day after day. Thank heavens they fixed that glitch were the file got messed up after reaching a certain amount of kbs.

Honstly, I don't think I'll get passed 800kb or something. I have already bought the cars that I like which are around 70.
