Well I used a X2010 & got 4:20:....oh yeah. Figured I might as well Git-R-Done the quickest way possible since laps actually HAVE to be done.

Took me roughly 6 hours, and the rain started at lap 22 and continued out through the whole race.

Why does it always rain forever and ever in this race? I haven't tried it myself, but still...

It took me a little over 6 hours. It didn't start to rain until the 110th lap and by far one of the more fun endurance races out of the lot. Not looking forward to the 9hr Tsukuba race :|

Your going to hate the Tsukuba 9 hours, I couldn't even stand the 4 hour one.

If you remember how long did the rain last

Rain started at lap 76 and lasted untill the end.
At first it was small rain, didn't affect the car handling and my lap times. But then, at the lap 93 it started raining fo' real, and lasted like that until the end. Bummer, slowed me down 15 seconds per lap.

Just over 6 hrs in the Xanavi Nismo GTR '08 on racing mediums. Started raining on lap ~150
Just cruised it to look after the tires most of the time

Just curious but which rain tires did you guys use? I found the Rain:Intermediate tires had better grip compared to the Racing:Rain tires.

I did about 6hr 10m in the Woodone Advan GT-R, no rain and on the hard tyre.

Very tiresome race, I should have been quicker overall but I tried to strategically keep a slower pace for tyre conservation to lengthen the first 2 stints but that wasn't working out.

What was your averge lap time guys? i´m doing it at the moment and i´m doing 2:05.xxx on racing medium, is that a good pace??

Btw i´m using the nsx stealth model.

6hr 47mins, i used a 458 that i had slightly upgraded and tuned the setup with some aero too. It was a fun race i did it with my buddies at uni and it was raining at the start for an hour or so, i was pulling ahead by a minute, one of my mates was maintaining the lead, and the other was loosing us a minute lol.

When the rain stopped and the racing softs kept going bad after my stint of pushing it got very interesting.

It all came down to the last pit stop!

2:05.xxx should be just fine. The takada dome nsx runs an average of apx 2:07.5 - 2:08.5, not taking pit laps into account.

Tsukuba isn't boring... It's my favorite. But to each his own, I guess.

And I haven't done this yet, but I'm looking to as soon as I can.

An endurance race will be as boring as anyone wants it to be. If you race a 9 hour race with an X1, then it's obvious that you're going to be bored.

In fact, GT5 will probably seem boring if you race like this.

You want to have fun? Then race it as you should. Or try taking an underpowered car, and rely on pit strategy.

I guess I finished in the 6hr. 15mins. area. Started off with racing hards and some bad pit strategies before I went to medium and finally to soft to seal the deal in the end. And no rain during the entire race. Just a blazing hot sun. :)

Or the Ford GT LM Spec II which is almost undrivable after 12 laps on racing hards. It still has 1/2 tyres but it is a hairy beast waiting to rip your head off the first chance you give it.
