I was just curious about how many cockpits will have the inside view. I heard there were 170 premium models. Does that mean only 170 cars will have damage and the cockpit view, or will all the cars have cockpits and damage?

170 cars will have damage as I know. And that's things falling of. This means only those cars were modeled in such a way that you could see the revealed parts when the door falls of. I personally think only cars with rollbars will have the real damage. That includes Nascar, WRC, and all race track cars. As for the other cars they'll only get scrape damage, but I hope they'll get the cockpit all.

If only 170 have cockpit's I wouldn't buy the game, but I doubt that's true, what have they been doing sfor 5 years if that's the case.

Damage should be on all cars, limited visible damage on production cars, and from the footage over the last couple of months WRC will have a fully visible damage system, but i've not read how far into the car list it will go.WRC,NASCAR,any car that gets race tuned,we won't know for sure until just before the japanese launch

All cars will have cockpit view.
All cars will have basic damage (small dents, paint scratches)
Race cars will have full damage. (nobody knows where PD will limit things, but according to Yamauchi, even Burnout style is possible)

^ That. I won't be so quick to affirm it, but it looks like that is what is gonna happen.

Some will have a standard cockpit, e.g. boring sedans, with the only modifications to the cockpit being the manufacturer's badge on the steering wheel. And perhaps (if it is in the car being modeled) a little display next to the steering wheel with sat-navs, what song you're listening to in place of the normal display of the radio station, e.g. 100.2FM, etc.

People all car will have cockpit view and damage!!!!!!!!!!! Race car will have full damage road car will have limited damage like scratches ,dent"s,bumper lose... Stap with this please!!!!!!👎

This

ALL, maybe prototypes will not have cockpit view.
I think so too, the prototypes will not have cockpit view because of their nature, such as the GT-R Proto in GT5p. But the rest of the other cars will have the cockpit view.

Do all cars in GTPSP have full interiors? If so, thats a pretty good sign that GT5 will also as they have already been modeled to some extent.

Oh come on people, not this again...
This is a reminder, more than 2 years old:

When a simple fiat 500 has the interior done...

Yes, the cock-pit issue has been resolved months ago. Let's not have this topic conjure up more confusion. Every cars gets a cock-pit.

Based on what I've read around here and the web in general, I'd say this is a fair assumption of how things will be.

I'd say all cars except maybe the odd 4-5 concepts (like the Nike car form Gt4) will have fully modelled interiors and cockpit view.

Actualy damage to the cockpit, i think we shouldn't expect more than just race cars.
