thats the question, I've been hunting and searching the board, but I havent found the answer. anyone know?
Some cars like the Veyron don't need to be broken in.
Well, my fully tuned Veyron started with 0 miles on it had 1256HP. It has not gain a single HP and it has well over 1000 miles on it now. There are other cars that seem to have max HP at 0 miles. That is false.
Break-in not Broken.but isnt there a way to fix them i mean..engine overhall or chasis maintaince doesnt help?
If you bought it from the Online Car Dealership, those ones are already broken in for some reason.Well, my fully tuned Veyron started with 0 miles on it had 1256HP. It has not gain a single HP and it has well over 1000 miles on it now. There are other cars that seem to have max HP at 0 miles.

I don't think this is true.

I have just tested this.
0/0 Veyron max tuned + oil change = 1256 BHP
So there are some cars which do not need to be braked-in

The 0 mile cars in the OCD have a higher HP reading than a 0 mile car received from any of the tickets. That is why people say the cars are already broken in. I do not know if this is true and I have not driven any of the OCD cars a long enough distance to see if they actually increase in HP like a normal car does during break in.
What do you mean by "higher HP reading" ??
Where?
If you compare the stats of any two identical cars with 0 miles (one from the OCD and one received from any ticket), the car from the OCD will have more horsepower when you view it's data in the garage.
200 km / 124 miles

Any car from the OCD (they are not new cars) will already be broken in, They used to have mileage but PD zeroed it at a previous update but left them all broken in.
There is not a single mileage number for a car to be fully broken in. I have always used a range of 180 to 200 miles. I think it depends on the type of car itself. In my opinion, a higher HP car like the Toyota Minolta may take more miles than a VW Beetle for instance.
A few months ago, I wanted to max the HP on all my 2010 Nascar cars. The mileage on these cars ranged from 184.3 to 209.3 miles when they reached max HP. Today I noticed one of the cars was 14 HP below the max and it had only 107.6 miles. I just took this car and ran it in practice at Daytona. It finally reached max HP at 200.3 miles.

How about in the tuning screen when "you're in the car"?
I ask because I've noticed some flaws in the garage hp display.
Particularly, I noticed this with my various karts. The garage display will show something different from the view inside the garage of the car, and different still from the hp in the tuning display when you're "in the kart".
Then why did we have to break in our Nissan 240zg cars that we all bought for a race from the OCD a couple of weeks ago?

Mine was gaining HP with every practice race I did. (It reached the peak HP at about 157miles.)
Another guy's was significantly lower in HP by the time he started practicing, that he gave it to his bspec bob to break-in.
???
So are we sure it's ALL cars from the OCD that are broken in?
