I know that it means japan or european version but what does pal stand for?

[dayboy2k1]

i don't know what pal stands for but in europe all of the things are pal. the ps2 is pal, tv is pal. the us and japan are NTSC

[boyracer]

yeah good idea it has to be definative ive seen so many different lists but i reckon there is about 185 cars in the pal version two more than the american version and 3 more than the Japanese version. So for once weve got the better version
