I think it has little to do with interpreting your sarcasm. I'm sarcastic and I joke around a lot, but you hardly ever see anyone taking it seriously b/c most of them know me better than that. Sometimes you have to get to know people before you can act that way or they'll just see you as a jerk. As far as saying congrats to people, being nice doesn't mean you're conforming. If you don't see getting a certain number of posts as being significant, fine.. don't say anything at all. I'm sure there are people who share your view, but you don't see them telling others how stupid it is to be happy you got up to a certain number.
To me, you come across as being the type of person who likes to cause trouble and start fights. In your short time here, you've already managed to get two threads locked b/c of fighting over a comment you made.
