You think you've got it bad, I live in an area where the best available is ISDN, which we have, and its still crap. Although we are only using one line at the moment, instead of dual connection.....

I CAN'T GET ANY CABLE! :bigmouth:
 
space has road runner, his upload is pretty bad, i was downloading some stuff from him on win MX, i would get 30K for 10 secs, then it would bottom out, then go back up to 30k for 10 secs, then bottom and go right back up again, or id just get 20 off of him.

he was getting like steady 30-35 off of me.

Sat if you can deal with the bad ping and crappy cons in bad weather, and even the chance your internet connection blows away (damn that last one is pretty funny)
 
I'll just have to live with having MP3 take 30 minutes to download, then coming out incomplete, and being disconnected and having to wait 1 minute to be connected......

BTW I read a thread on SCGT, and PunkRock says it sucked playing multiplayer b/c of his con, I hope its not that bad for me(I know it will be though :( )

Well like i've said before, I've played multiplayer on MTM2 on the old connection, which was really crap, and I don't remember any problems. There will have been some lag I expect, but nothing to spoil the game for me.

Well:

a) No-one can get through on the phone when both lines are connected.
b) It costs loads more money, at the moment I can get on for free after 6 and on weekends, I think when both lines are connected it costs the same as a phone call.
c) My dads working abroad I don't know how to connect it up.
