Just get a long iLink cable.
Actually, a broadband iLink interface would be a great idea. Maybe I should write Sony and suggest it.

Your asking the wrong questions. The I.Link Hub is better known as a "Firewire hub". Just ask them that and they will know what your looking for. But theres more. iLink hubs (a.k.a. Firewire hub) uses a 6-pin configuration, while the ps2 uses a 4-pin setup. So in order to link 6 ps2's you need 6,4 - to 6 pin cables. looks something like this.
Has anyone heard of the "Firewire Hub" or where to get one??
Works with Macs and PCs
FireWire works with both Macs and PCs, which guarantees a wide range of FireWire-capable products at reasonable prices. Many digital videocams and cameras already use FireWire, which is also referred to as IEEE 1394 and i.LINK.
FireWire Benefits
The FireWire advantage can be summed up in three words: speed, speed, and more speedat 400Mbps, it has more than 30 times the bandwidth of USB, which makes it the perfect choice for high-speed storage and serious video capture. Here are some other benefits: Supports up to 63 devices using cable lengths up to 14 feet.
Hot-pluggableyou dont have to turn off a scanner or CD drive to connect or disconnect it, and you dont need to restart your computer.
FireWire cables are a snap to connectyou dont need device IDs, jumpers, DIP switches, screws, latches or terminators.

Chez Pako,
I would really like to know if anyone has sucessfully linked 4 or more PS2 and played multi player GT3 using the I-link part of arcade?

I have not tried it, but would like to put together a 6-player game room for some serious GT3 action. I only have one problem . . . . .cost.
In US Dollars the brakedown is something like this:
PS2-GT3 game pack - 6x329.95 = 1979.70
27" Standard TV Monitors - 6x289.99 = 1739.94
Accessories and such - 6x89.99 = 539.94
Total cost of gaming center = $4,259.58 which assumes using T.V. sound with no custom sound equipment.

lets see if i can sneak in here....
I tell you what though, if an arcade invested that money into a set up like that, and charge per race... they would make some serious money. I am telling. Its like daytona, at disney!!
