Actually my car does not burn rice. That is the sort of menality that mature people look upon as nothing more than a cry for help. I was born and grew up in Nothern Illinios. I lived there for 32 years and have owned a number of Detroit made iron. Until I came to New Zealand I to believed in owning nothing but American made vehicles. Since they are extremely expensive over seas Japanese vehicles are the norm here.
Of all the cars I have owned:
69 Chevelle Super Sport
72 Vette Stingray
78 Camaro Z28
77 Monte Carlo Landu
84 Cavilier
85 Iroc Z28
86 Chevy Deluxe custom Pick up
86 Chevy Corsica
89 Dodge Dakota
94 Dodge Stratus
All had various problems. The last two were the worst ironicly. Since owning 3 Nissan Skylines I have not had near the car troubles. Go figure. Maybe the American way of building, designing and thinking needs to change. The Toyota Camery was the top seller when I was still in the States for 5 consecutive years. It was also the most reliable.
What is your definition of a real car? A car made in Detroit, or one made in the US? If so well hate to burst your bubble but there are Japanese cars assembled in the United states.
If you mean Chevy, Dodge, Ford, bla bla. Here is one for you. I see Chevy cavilier's driving around New Zealand more and more. What the real ironic part is they are badged and sold by TOYOTA! No that is not a typo. They are called Toyota Cavilier's and it is a Z24 Chevy Cavilier or was.
You really need to do some research before making such bold statements. You only endevour to make yourself look silly.
