Keep tryin tucows. Are you runnin cable??? If you are, tucows would probably give you a rate of 300+.
 
yo guys i was after some advice , i got windows xp given to me for free from a friend at work and i'm currently on windows me , what i need to know is have any of you guys heard of any problems upgrading to xp and is there any safety measures i have to take first , thanx in advance for your help ;) :cool:

I have it with ME but ran into problems. Video driver and software and a few other things. I gonna do the clean install when I do do it!!

thanx ghost i wont install it until you get it sorted , then hopefully you can guide me how to properly install it , i'm glad i asked now , thanx ;)

Here's a couple of things to consider.

  1. Do not upgrade/install on top of ME.
  2. Either dual boot, or run FDISK /MBR and wipe your HD clean and do a freash install.

Ya, right. I was looking for a good internet site thats free for live video. Sorta found one but haven't downloaded it yet. I have tried the software from x10 and it works good, but you have to download remote software to get the video. Thats a drag. I want live video over the internet..

  1. The installation is neat because it asks you if you want to upgrade or todo a clean install. It will do the work for you..

I just got in with Tucows with download rates 5X's faster. :D

I'll be here for a while....

I'm pretty sure if your running a Intel product, you can download a utility from www.intel.com that will regulate:
  1. Temperature of system and processor core.
  2. Voltages of all sorts of stuff
  3. and Fan RPM's

    It's pretty cool.

Only about half service compaired to Ghost over there.

Why is the download taking so long then??? I got it in about 6 and a half minutes, and my download rate wasn't that high:confused: :confused: :confused:
