How Many Songs Do You Have in Your iTunes?

My Itunes says that I have 4295, but it's because it copied doubles over, and I've yet to deleate them all. After I finish getting rid of the doubles it'll be around 3500 songs.

And yes, all my music is legal. Most of it is owned by my parents, however I have purchased about 40 CDs of my own.

I have thousands of other tracks that i'd like, but can't really justify spending thousands of pounds to get them all legally (the only option for me).

It seems my previous thread was a little difficult to understand. Let me reiterate:

With that many songs some of them MUST be mainstream!

I have music from so many artists and genres it is kind of insane. Chopin to Gaga, Pedro the Lion to Skrillex, BT to Tool, etc.

Means I can always find something for the mood I'm in, or for company. I also have a premium Spotify account for on the go and stuff I don't have or is new.

Music is very important to me, and complete collections are as well. It is very, very rare for me to not have something playing in the background at my place - the silence actually bothers me as my mind needs an idle process in the background.

My default is often Trip Hop. Simple, chill, and relaxing vocals. My issue with classical is it tends to go from quiet to loud over time, and so not best suited to casually moving around the place while listening.

Groove Salad over on Soma.fm is another option when I'm just unsure what to play.
