Well we have to define obese. I would say Obesity is grotesquely fat. Like, I think I'm "classified" as obese (by the insurance companies, anyway... bastards), even though I'm not grotesque. I think Standard might have the same idea.

Nah, I have good form on everything. If I do new lifts I work on my form at low weight high rep before I max for the first time.

I don't have my gma's digicam at the moment so I can't do pictures. Shirt off I assume? What about my legs and ****? I do get parallel on my squats.

Have you seen Casio's pic? Something like that...

depends on what other stuff they've done before that :p i did 240 my 1st time ever in the gym. but i was doing martial arts before that lifting, punching and kicking people. how much do you think a lumberjack will be able to bench his 1st time in in training :p :) ?

But that guy is a 14 years old BMX rider!

i was 16 and i weighed 185 and i could bench 240 not machine. i really dont know what my max is. i dont lift much except for a pair of 40 pound dumbells i have. i do all bodyweight exercises and lifting other people around :p. i looked like i was on roids but it was cus i trained like 3 hours a day almost every day.
i was 6'0"tall 185pounds and 11%bodyfat.

now i weigh 213 cus i dont train anywhere near as much... i am trying to get back into training.

Well, I guess you're screwed. I've never tried machines and I don't plan to.

I used to race BMX for 7 years, I still ride like 6 hours a day at a minimum and I race mountainbikes now. I do a ton of urban and dirtjumping which is quite strenous too.

Power cleans definitely help getting the front end up and bench, mostly flat and decline, help pushing that lip to get more pop for more height.

this is belivable, but this kids barely into puberty, and 200lbs and 5"6

While I don't necessarily believe it, I will say that it is possible. Let me introduce you to "Mini Herc":

At the time that pic was taken, he was 8 years old and could bench, curl and squat more that I could at my best. It also helps that he had good genes. I believe his dad was a martial artist and his mother was a professional ballerina. Put the two together and apparently you get a crazy strong, crazy flexible 8 year old.

Yeah.

I understand how it's not believable. I don't really care too much if you guys believe me. I like to just put in my update to see how I progress and the people who DO trust me can also follow it if they wish.

I also understand how a 14 year old kid "barely into puberty" isn't likely to be doing this weight. However, there were 2 other kids my age putting up similar amounts of weight.

You guys just have to trust me. If you don't, then whatever. I don't wanna come off as some douche bag n00b with a big head. I deal with them all the time over on MTBR..

Actually, his dad got locked up for giving his son hormones and all kinds of crap. His dad was a little crazy in the coconut.

Div is back
14 years old, and you are lifting pre bodybuilding weights?

A 14 year old should not be lifting too many weights anyway, itstuffs arounf with muscle development, and if overdone can leave you with irregularly developed muscles, and worst case scenario, disfigurement, as the bones haven't finished growing yet either.

I may be wrong but that is how it was explained to me a while ago, and it seems to make sense.

Haven't lifted in a while, but I can do 135 10 times on bench. It's not much, but hey, It's enough.

I'm 13, and weigh in at a hefty 170 .lbs (and dropping). 5'7 and a half-ish.

Oh, and it would appear that "he" is a "she"...

I talked to my doctor about it first. He just said don't be maxing too often.

I haven't lifted in awhile. I have never really pushed myslef hard cuz of all that growth stuff and its been about a year since the last time I did lift. Last time I lifted I hit 115 lbs. on the bech, which is my body weight so I was pretty satisfied with that. That was with free weights in my basement I've never been to a gym or worked out at a school.

Right now I'd probably only be able to bench 75- 85 lbs. which is what it always seems to be when ever I start up again.

75-85 .lbs is way too easy for an average 16 year old. You should start with at least 100 .lbs . I can do 125 without a problem. 135 I believe is my max out.

Why does everyone put so much emphasis on benching? My bench press has always sucked and after 12 years of on-and-off lifting, I have come to accept that. In my junior year of high school, I maxed on the hip sled at 780lbs for 5 reps. My bench was more around 110lbs for 5 reps. So what? Sure I got a lot of looks from the foot/basket/baseball players in the class struggling with my meager benching abilities, but after they saw pound for pound I could double their squats/hip sled, no one cared about the bench anymore. Same thing at the gym. I started benching just the 45lb bar. They didn't know I could see them, but four guys we laughing at me until they noticed that 10 minutes later I was still going. I stopped at 300 reps that day.

Bench press alone is pointless and I have seen plenty of people at the gym that only care about it. They are usually the guys wearing Zubaz and grunting.

We did it 5 days a week which is stupid.

I dont remember all the lifts. Bench, Decline Bench, Dead lift, squats, front press, push press, hang cleans...

225 bench, 315 Dead lift, 355 squats, no max, 165 push press, 175 hang cleans but I think I could do a little more.

Oh well, on the Internet I'm screwed. I'll wait a few years and then you guys might believe me.

bench press sucks. its easy to damage shoulder ligaments so most pros dont do them and neither do I.

As for little hercules he is a he and he was on roids. He cant get anywhere near his previous condition now that his dad is in jail and cant feed him roids

Yeah, if you or your spotter can't control the weight, you can mess your shoulders pretty bad. I dropped too fast and popped my shoulders. Sore for a few days.

He's probably going to be a midget, well not quite but very small when he's grown up and probably have bad bones and muscle architecture.
