Well I spend most of my day here - I don't post but read and read, sometimes I post - like now.

could be worse.............just go into any internet chatroom. its basically a silo filled with 'tards pretending to be ultra-kool gangsta homies

Go to the chatrooms I visit. That's where there are 3 to 1 liberal majorities, of which two of the three yell about oil and you, if you don't immediately agree. Oh, and Dean is God. Supposedly.

Often the conservatives there can be pretty dopey.

The MSN ones are the worst, theres always about 20 people having cyber at once

I'm not paying that damn fee to use theirs. But I remember theirs as being the best. Mostly, though, because I went to specific chatrooms that were connected to communities I am in. I didn't go into the party chatrooms, et al, much.

I couldn't stand AOL long, and Yahoo is ok, except that there are a lot of conspiracy theorists there, and I doubt all of them know the "truth."

It's certainly reinforced the fact that age should never be something to judge someone by. I've found that my moral standpoints are on par with some of GTP's youngest members... and that the youngest are among the friendliest and most intelligent.

Then again, I was beating the anti-ageism drum at the GTF at the age of 12. :)

During my FAQs' respective heydays, I remember constantly getting ICQs, IMs, and e-mails from GTP members. They were always among the most polite and most thankful people I ever heard from.

I also feel obliged to say that even though I don't browse here enough to get a real "feel" for most members, I've certainly made a few lifelong friends on this board. For that, I'm thankful. :)

I'd say it has affected me. I'm not sure in what ways, though. I know that since I've been here I type correctly everywhere on the net, even AIM. I try to anyway. I've been here pretty much since I was a freshman in high school. I'm about to finish my junior year and I'm still hangin' around this place. I just can't seem to stay away. To the dissapointment of many I'm sure.

I love this place.

GTP opened too much for me. Usually the computer was a once a week thing where I talked to my friends and looked at cars. Once I registered at GTPlanet, I was addicted and it's been over a year and there's no letting down. I've tried to quit but it's waay to hard.

GTP is the best.
