How much have you grinded Eifel kart?

Does it? In Forza 3 I spent a considerable amount of time grinding endurance races, never made anything close to enough cash to buy all the cars I wanted (never did get round to buying the 911 GT1 Strassenversion), then got bored. In GT5P, I was doing endless laps of Daytona. GT4 had the DTM championship on B-Spec mode. However, with GT5, I've grinded the 5 lap race at Indy loads, but after I got bored of that I found B-Spec's DCC to be quite a good earner. Then the multi-million reward seasonals came around, then the current crop of fairly high reward races that allow me to try a variety of cars and tracks for similar pay. Now all of those rewards are tripled, and that's not to mention the fact that Bobs can earn me money for no effort at all.

So yeah, grinding is boring, but it's not a unique problem and at least GT5 has given us a number of ways to do it, and will probably continue to do so.

1: Just because the problem isn't unique to this game doesn't make it one of it's biggest problems.

2: While no game has unlimited content, I don't think you can argue that F3's repeatable career mode imposed anywhere near the limitation that GT5s career mode has. Ultimately I guess you will eventually run out of new things to do in any game, however the rate at which that happens is an important measure.

This thread so thoroughly illustrates one of the biggest problems with this game...

Does it? Grinding is boring, yes, but look at Forza 3, GT5P and GT4; there's only really one way to grind in each of those. GT5 has had a few good methods since it's launch, including remote racing, B-Spec Dream Car, American Championship, multi-million reward seasonals and, for now, 300,000 for 3 minutes' work or 450,000 for 5.

So while it's boring, it's not a unique problem (all games of this type will have issues with grinding or issues with longevity), at least GT5 has provided us with choices, and I believe it will continue to do so.

1. That is true and I agree (but it doesn't bother me), I was kind of pointing out that it's unavoidable with these games.

2. That's also true, but if you're looking to make money as quickly as possible you want to repeat the race that pays out the most money per minute, which I think turned out to be the Le Mans endurance (or I chose that because it paid out the most per race with a hired driver, I can't remember), which got really, really boring. Although it may be slow, we are being given new things to do almost every week which pay out almost the same amount, so we won't lose out on loads of credits if we grind the supercar seasonals instead of the kei cars. Therefore, in my opinion, grinding GT5 is less boring than Forza 3, if only slightly. GT5's career mode has nothing on Forza 3's nor GT4's, though.

What eifel kart? the civic or the k light weight cup?

With triple pay the k cup at least 4 mill, with civic (wich pays 340k always) yesterday i run 15 times reaching 12 mill.

Grinded Eiffel Supercar like no other. Each time I got enough for an LMP, I'd set it to 700pp and take it round Eiffel to try and get a sub 1:00 (and failing, but getting better every time). I think I've made about 25mil on that track alone, and it's been brilliant to have a decent opportunity to try every high-end car out, from my LMPs to my Nardo, Enzo, stock F1, tuned F1, Lister Storm and right down to Caterhams and Elises and that bat**** Suzuki.

I prefer grinding the Eifel Supercar Circuit, it pays 490K for 5:00 minutes of sheer enjoyment out of experimenting with all my racecars have to offer. even at 163K, it is worth it to me.

Which race is this?

How much have I raced the Eifel track in seasonal? A pants-load.

I think I could drive that race blindfolded.

I used that event to test all my cars trying to win. Was funny and profitable, my 330 P4 is now at home :D
I don't use to grind but the supercars event is son funny that made it almost irresistible...

Do it, and post it on youtube. And send me a link.

Only got 2 premium cars to buy ( 14.5mil ) and then there's just prize cars and used cars for me to have the lot. Must have bought ~20 premiums since grinding different seasonals the last week or two.

Probably about 100 times. Lately I've been having much more fun grinding the supercar events using all my race cars & high end road cars that had been gathering dust...

Since the new seasonals I've been grinding the Nurburgring in the British Lightweights, changing cars frequently. 439,000cr, 49800exp and a racing suit every time for just over 7mins, plus I don't consider it grinding on the Nurburgring as it's one lap at a time instead of 5 in 5mins, it doesn't feel as repetitive.
