I'm 19 and I started playing when I got a copy of GT2. Got GT3 after that and it has been my fave racing/GT game since (for some reason I never really got into GT4) but now back into GT mode and cant wait for GT5

I am 25 and have been playing since GT3. I got the game by asking for a PS2 and my parents unknowingly getting me the GT bundle. I dualshock'd it till GT4 came out and I got the GT branded DFP steering wheel. I got DFPGT for GT5:P and will be using that for GT5.

I am turning 18 next month. I Played every gt except the gt concept and GT5P, because i am only getting a ps3 at christmas, hopefully bundled with GT5, who knows? :) and already pre ordered GT Mobile, so it will be one more to add to the list :D

In a few weeks it will be the 26th anniversary of my birth, started playing Gran Turismo when it was first released, for some reason I don't think I owned 2 & 3 but I vaguely remember playing them.

Just after GT4 was released I was in a car accident & basically couldn't get out of bed for a few months so I got my parents to buy me a PS2 & GT4 and I don't know what I would have done without it.

As soon as the PS3 was released I brought one mainly for GTHD, since then I have played GT5P more than any other game I've got because I've owned 2 cars that are featured in GT5P and no other game in the world can even get close to the realistic feel of each individual car.

Im 19, played GT3 from when it first came out for ages, never got into GT4 but now right into GT5P. Bought a G25 and hopefully some sort of cockpit to come, GT5 is going to ruin my social life i can see it, but it will be so worth it.

Cheers,

Kiel

I'm 20 and I remember playing GT3 for hours and hours, I never got GT4 and I kind of forgot about GT until I got my PS3 and GT5P. It brought back all the memories and now I can't wait for GT5, I have GTPlanet constantly on refresh for news.

I'm 30, played all of them since the first one in '98. Played with pads all the way until I finally got a G25 last year for GT5P.

When GT1 came out, I didn't have a car.

When GT2 came out, I got a (then)15-year old stock BMW E30 320i.

Between GT3-GT4, I put a 2.7L M20B27 lump in my E30 to go with a total rebuild.

When GT5P came out, I got a bugeye WRX and started autocross, and circuit driving (with no fear! thanks, PD!).

When GT5 gets here, I hope Santa remembers to drop off an intercooler and standalone ECU with a Japanese tuner for my Scooby :)

I'm 28.

When GT1 came out, I did some laps at my friend's place.
Missed everything else until GT5P. When it arrived, I bought a PS3 and the game.

I'm now 15 and I've been playing GT1 & GT2 since 1999 (I was about 5 years old :))
I've played all GT series games instead of Concepts and GT4 Prologue..

22, been playing Gran Turismo since GT1 just before my 12th birthday in 1999. so im workin on 10 years plus.

I'm 35 years old and I've got all thw GT series (and of course Tourist Trophy)

None of these is platinum.
Every single game was bought the 1st day on store shelves 👍

49... was looking for a blueray player for watching movies. I goggled for the best one and people were saying a PS3. I said, weird, but okay and got the PS3 for playing my bluray movies. My friend came over with GT5p and I got hooked... I just finished all the events tonight using my pad. Was going crazy for the last two weeks since my friend bought it over, I thought I'd never beat all the events. But, woohoo! I made it! That Ferrari Formula car accelerates like a raped ape!

I'm 28 I have, and still own all of the US GT releases except for concept. The only one that I didn't pre-order was GT1.
I remember the first time I heard about the game was from my friend Mike.
he was telling me about it in the front room of the nurses office in my high school (my mother was the nures, we spent a lot of time there.)
I remain eternally grateful to him for turning me on to what has become bar none my favorite game series of all time.

I have been playing Gran Turismo since the first one. I was so excited to buy it the first day it came out and I played it with a friend for hours right away. It is inspiring the realism of the physics driving engine. I've driven the following cars in real life and can honestly say Gran Turismo comes as close as you can get to the real thing: 2001 Audi S4, 2002 Porsche Boxster, 2003 350Z, 2005 Honda S2000, 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo, and finally a supercharged Z06 with a custom Lingenfelter motor (fast enough to beat stock crotch rockets including liter bikes on the street). We can't own or drive all the best sports cars in the world, but we can come close with Gran Turismo.

I don't have a seat and I am missing a G25, but I'm considering it...

The series has been going on so long that I was living with my parents in college when GT1 came out and now I have my own house and career with GT5 Prologue. Anyone playing since GT1 has literally grown up with the series.

I haven't played Tourist Trophy, but it probably doesn't have a Kawasaki Ninja 250R or Ducati Monster 695 so I can't compare the game to real life. :)

I'm 19. I started off with GT2, played a bit of GT1 later but mainly spent a year on the unconquerable Sequel. Went with Xbox over PS2 but I did borrow a friends PS2 once so I could play GT3 (even got another friend hooked on GT3 when we played it at his house one day).

Just got my PS3 with GT5P a few days ago. Only took two days of casual playing to get to the S class events but I've since tried my hand at a few other games (did a couple of back-to-back high dollar races only to have the game freeze up and quit so I'm still recovering from that rage.)

I'm planning on pre-ordering GT5 when they get around to announcing the release date, might even get a wheelif budget allows, certainly going to invest in a headset and PSEye at the very least.

I'm 14 and started off with GT1 in 2001. Earliest memories of GT are 30 lap 2 player enduros around Trial Mountain racing against my brother (who sadly isnt a GT fan anymore). I own all of the games (released in Australia) except GT1 (that was my brother's), GT4P and GTHD

I'm 27, and have been playing GT since GT1 on my brother's PS. I bought my PS2 when GT3 came out, and my PS3 when GT5P came out!
