How old is your GT5 pre-order and where do you keep it?

It has been stated that the US's blockbuster bankruptcy will not affect Canada's branch. As far as I know blockbuster is doing well here, we only have it and rogers video here for rentals and we have about 4 in our smallish city of 200k.

So no worries here : ).

:lol: I may have contributed to that, by never paying my late fees in college.

But, anyway my pre-order was placed a couple of days after the NA date was announced at E3. I'm pretty sure they announced the CE right after that and thats when I did it actually.

But, I have had it in my wallet ever since. I think...

I reserved my CE 07/02/10 and keep it under my McLaren F1 die-cast car on my hutch. Plus I have a post-it stuck on my hutch to remind me where I put it.
 
I preordered from GameStop summer of 09. I changed to the CE as soon a s they had a sku for it in their system. Multiple receipts have been throw in the gabage. We are in their system and they know us.

I pre-ordered mine ~ when my local gamestop was accepting pre-orders. Went right away and changed it to CE once i heard the news and again, when my local gamestop was accepting pre-orders for the CE. I keep mine in my pandora's box (special edition GOW 3 item :P)
 
My CE pre-order is barely a month old.. and I don't "keep" it anywhere, since it was ordered online :)
 
Had done it about August '09 but cancel and did it again in Oct after I got some Amazon credit from purchasing other games, my preorder price stands at $4046

I preordered CE about 2 months ago with a $20 minimum down at the EB I go to. Next time I'm around I'll pay it off but at the time I needed the money. Lost the reciept but meh, they know me and I have my ID.
 
I was waiting for the collector's edition to be announced and pre-ordered the SE the day it was announced at my local retailer :)
 
Pre-ordered my CE the same day they gave the release date from E3 and it has been in my wallet ever since; it will never leave my sight! I've been burned by Gamestop before where they lost the order receipt from their little 'bin' and I lost my receipt and I've been out $100 :grumpy: It took me about 7 years to buy from them again (Call Of Duty 4).

About a week old. My receipt is pinned to my wall, just need to pay off another $35 unless I get CE.

I'll keep it till December probably.
 
I never pre-ordered this game. But this thread reminds me. I need to pre order Fallout New Vegas and Fable 3.
 
I pre ordered mine a couple months back from gamestop after i heard about the collectors edition. I cant wait for the holiday season now! Its just like when i was younger, waiting for Christmas to come to get my presents.
 
Mine is for the CE and is stored digitally on my Gamestop account since the week after E3 (nearly 4 months). It'll be charged to a no-balance credit card and I'll pay it off within a few months after it ships to my address.

Ordered 'Vision Gran Turismo' in June of 2005 from Gamestop online (name later updated to Gran Turismo 5).

Still waiting 5 1/2 years later.

Wait, so you NEED your receipt to get your pre-order? Because I lost mine (it mysteriously disappeared from the bottom of my dresser :grumpy:) but when I went to the Gamestop, they told me I didn't need it. They would just call me when my pre-order for GT5 comes in.
 
I preordered my CE back in the middle of June. I keep the receipt in my wallet.

I've preordered stuff from Gamestop before, and I never needed it. I believe the only time you need it is if you want to change your preorder (ie. CE to Standard edition) or cancel it. Possibly if you want to advance some money into it ahead of time, but I'm not sure. Also, if the idiots tending the store lose the slip of paper that has your phone number and the amount of money put down.

Mine is kept in my glove conpartment.. license, registration, insurance, GT5 rec. Pre odered once the release date came out :'(
