How to customize your own race?

Straight to the point. I want to pick my own track and set the weather and time, for example, night or raining. I know I cannot do this on single player, which is stupid as i have completed most races for it.

Only problem with me doing this online is that a few months back when I played online, everyone just used to use racing cars and drive dirty, and half the time it took about 1 hour to start the race as not everyone was ready in the lobby.

Has it changed? And how can I avoid all the points I mentioned above?

You just wanna change time and weather? It should be possible in single player on change time/ change weather maps (Toscana, Monza, Spa, SSR7, 'ring, La Sarthe...there's a couple more i'm missing) during "practice" sessions and arcade mode i believe

At the race start screen (it's after the map loads) there's an icon that looks like the track outline for High Speed Ring and it includes all the track settings such as time and weather.

That works online as well as long as you're host. And no way of avoiding asswipes in online lobbies.

Call your room clean street cars only and carry big ban stick if people continue to enter with race cars and drive dirty.

For the people who take forever to get on the track, set the room on automatic race start every 'x' amount of minutes. They don't get in, too bad -- they were made fully aware of when the race starts.

Babysitting sucks.
